The entrance one is full of deep potholes The parking is inadequate very tight The decking and fencing had not been jet washed or cleaned or maintained in-fact the decking was dangerous The outside furniture was broken and a broken fridge was left on the decking, the trees needed cutting back Inside there had obviously been a water leak, the water marks could clearly be seen on the walls The bedding was damp, the mattresses quilts and pillows all need replacing, the beds were very uncomfortable.
The carpets were sticky and need replacing The lounge furniture was uncomfortable, the pleather peeling and every surface was sticky and needed polishing The shower tray did not drain properly On a positive note the toilet and basin were clean, the washing up bowl was clean and the fridge freezer was new All in all the place needs cleaning updating and all furniture inside and out replacing A very disappointing experience and would NOT recommend We tried to get in in the next door site of log cabins, but they had already rehoused 2 bookings from your site You should be ashamed renting out substandard challets
The accommodation was very basic.
The TV was tiny and struggled to pick up a signal. The Wi Fi was very poor. The furniture was uncomfortable and old. The sofa was peeling. The 2 chairs were that bad we had to place cushions under the fabric. The double bed was so uncomfortable. It also felt like it would fall apart when moving. If it rains you get constant noise from the drips off the trees. So glad to be home for a good night sleep.
As a customer with Sykes and been very satisfied with the previous property i was extremely dissapointed with 5 Lakeview.
Arrive late due to heavy traffic and found the accomodation in very poor state. Lounge Area: Some light bulbs not working, stained and dirty carpet, very small TV which was glitching on all channels, no internet conection. Kitchen Area: Wooden chopping board splintering and dirty, Tea towel filthy and smelly, Fridge smelt awful. Bathroom: Cobwebs in shower tray and towels too small, no hot water Saturday morning.There were holes and cracks in numerous places around the inside of the property Outside Area: Decking not maintained, old fridge dumped on decking.I didn't have time to complain while there as i was attending a wedding.The whole place was filthy and furniture outdated. Positive: Bedding was clean
