Midway Lodge

The Lodge was lovely,in a beautiful location,very peaceful,the only thing was,the bed being hard,and the sofa being low down,with no neck support,that's because we are in our 70's

We loved staying in Midway Lodge and looked forward to coming home to it everyday.

It was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped; and in an amazing, quiet location with beautiful views. Despite its wonderful feeling of remoteness, it was only a 10 minute walk down to the quirky villages of Cawsand and Kingsand from which you can join the South West Coastal Path. A big thank you to the owners, Andrew and Sue, for providing us with the best welcome pack we've ever received and for your lovely holiday accommodation. The very friendly and helpful owner welcomed us to the lodge, gave us some tips on the locality etc.

There was a lovely generous welcome pack of scones, cream, jam, Cornish farings, scrumpy cider and milk. The lodge is quite spacious and very clean. There are beautiful countryside views towards Rame and from the side windows you can see the Sea. It is a short 10min walk through the fields to Cawsand and Kingsand. Lots of interesting things to see and do in the area which was lovely. Would 100% recommend Midway lodge.

Well positioned with lovely views and only a 10 minute walk across the fields into Cawsand.

We stayed at "Midway Lodge" during massive storms and almost consistent rain - nearby Cawsands and Kingsands villages were badly affected.

We however were comfy warm and felt there was more than enough space for the two of us not to feel cooped up. The owners (and their very friendly dog) were there to welcome us and the "welcome pack" was one of the best. We would definitely stay again in the not too distant future - hopefully with better weather!!! Thank you Andrew and Sue

We had a fantastic holiday at Midway.

It was sooo comfortable and we had everything we needed. The views are outstanding!!! A wonderful peaceful location but close to everything. We hope to return in the future.

Convenient for ferry to Plymouth. A truly enjoyable experience.

HOLIDAY AND OWNERS AND LODGE WAS FANTASTIC.

SYKES INABILITY TO ANSWER THE PHONE IN UNDER TWO HOURS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. BEEN USING THEM FOR MANY YEARS BUT WHO EVER IS SETTING POLICY WILL BREAK YOUR COMPANY.

What a fabulous week of relation lovely setting with beautiful views all around, a special little place, make sure to take your binoculars the wildlife I fab, and the owner Andrew a really nice man.

On arrival the lodge was spotless, with a generous welcome pack.

Midway has all the facilities and comforts you need for a very comfortable stay. If you like peace and quiet and beautiful view’s this is the place to come. Just a short drive or a 10 minute walk you’ll be in Cawsand/Kingsand a great welcoming seaside town to explore and relax in. We loved our stay and shall return

We enjoyed our stay in the lodge.

Amazing view and only short walk into Cawsands. Some minor recommendations for kitchen would be egg cups and beer glasses. We bought some ice cube trays which we left. If it was my holiday home I would like to see a proper gas barbecue instead of the disposable one.

The lodge is perfect to get away from everything it is very remote with no distractions of 21st century life.

Just pack up provisions and the lodge has all the facilities you need to enjoy them .Clean comfy, with everything you need.

Absolutely loved it!

Very clean, comfortable and the owners had been very thoughtful in making it a very welcoming and relaxing stay. We thought the whole experience was fantastic! We would love to come back in September, however it looks like its booked up. We will just have to wait until next year!!

Midway Lodge was everything we expected it to be and more!

The lodge itself was spotlessly clean, had everything needed from a holiday home and was even better in real life than it looks in the photos. The views were breathtaking and the surrounding area beautiful. Andrew and Sue were excellent hosts striking a perfect balance of being available if needed without invading our privacy. Thank you for the lovely gifts - the cider was especially appreciated! Cannot recommend Midway Lodge highly enough - we definitely would love to return!

A clean and comfortable lodge.

Comfortable bed and large shower tray. The gas central heating worked absolutely fine when we were there in chilly March. Fresh milk included in the welcome is always a major plus for me as I usually arrange a supermarket delivery for the morning after arrival. The distant sea view framed through the smaller sitting room window is absolutely gorgeous on a clear day. Owners live next door and are welcoming on arrival but not at all intrusive. Good food and warm welcome at Cross Keys pub in Cawsand. Electric car charging in Cawsand car park. I can thoroughly Midway Lodge for a relaxing break.

Everything promised was delivered.

First class service from owners, we will return.

Beautiful views; no connection with Wi-Fi and unable to watch any TV.

Gas CH did not work very well, but there was a nice electric fire, which was adequate.

Overall experience delightful.

Would like to return.

Midway Lodge was the perfect break for us.

It had everything you could need in the kitchen and was very clean and comfortable. It was 10 minutes walk from the beach, lovely cafes and pubs. The whole coast was beautiful and there was plenty to do. Kayaking, walking, historic sites.
