Meadow Lodge

We had a lovely stay at Meadow Lodge.

It is in a great area on the site, tucked away nicely with a very sunny patio area. Sun from morning until evening! The styling was very modern, with a lovely layout. Nice and spacious Comfortable bed and pillows but the bedrooms could do with blinds as it was very light in the morning which woke us up very early. Good cooking utensils with a nice selection of crockery, glasses and cutlery provided. There was hand wash, towels, tea towels,washing up liquid, 4 dishwasher tablets, 2 toilet rolls, 1 kitchen roll provided. The location is spot on with a fantastic lake, cafe and woodland walks. There is so much to do from beach visits to waterfall hikes. We had a lovely relaxing break with fabulous weather, the hot tub was an added bonus too. Would highly recommend

Property was fine.

Jacuzzi was dirty from day 1 and after mentioning it nobody came to clean at all.

We had a great time staying at Meadow Lodge, the lodge and facilities exceeded expectations and we were very comfortable from the moment we arrived.

The staff at the lakeside cafe and the lake activity centre were really friendly. Only a short drive to bide and innate for some epic views and walks along the cliffs and beaches.

Meadow Lodge is simply wonderful!

The facilities in the lodge are excellent, providing everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The location is beautiful, with Roadford Lake and forest providing lovely scenery for walks with the dog. We would definitely return and would recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay at Meadow Lodge.

The lodge is really spacious and has everything tht is needed for a self catering holiday. It was cleaned to a good standard upon our arrival so we quickly unpacked and relaxed on the two large confortable sofas. The Roadford Lake site is beautiful, all lodges looked well maintained and the site in general was spotless. You do need a car to get about as it is in the middle of nowhere but that is why we booked it. It's only a 10 minute drive to Launceston which has both a Tesco and Lidl so everything you need to stock up. We made daily use of the Hot tub which our daughter loved. Other reviews have stated issues with the WiFi but we didn't encounter any such issues. We had a number of devices with us to use the WiFi and never had any connection issues. As a possible area of improvement I would suggest some anti bacterial spray or wipes to clean down the kitchen surfaces after preparing a meal. Also a squeegee to clean the showers screens after use would be useful but this is more of a habit from home. None of this distracted from a great holiday and we certainly plan on returning in the future. Many thanks.

Meadow lodge is like home from home.

If you’re wanting a relaxing break or a fun filled holiday this lodge fills both your wish list. The tranquil setting and the hot tub allows you to relax and unwind but if you fancy more then your just a short drive from the water sports on the lake to the hustle and bustle of the Cornish town of Bude and beyond. We managed to fit both a relaxing holiday and more as we visited Bude and the Eden project with their amazing zip line and even had a go at the water sports. He hot tub was frequented regularly and the cafe and walks around the lake too. Fun here for all the family! Will definitely recommend and already looking at booking again!!!!

We had an amazing stay at Meadow Lodge situated by the lake which our Pooch loved walking every day.

Also enjoyed going to some different beaches that we hadn’t been to as we normally travel to Devon&Cornwall every year. Had a couple of minor problems in the lodge but the man on sight quickly came and sorted it. All in all a fabulous stay at this lodge and location and would recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful lodge, great facilities, had everything we needed for an enjoyable break, loved the little basket with the coffees, teas etc as I had forgotten to bring sugar for my families coffees, only gripe was we had to ask the man checking the hot tub to turn the temperature up a little as wasn't that hot at first but was fine after that

Very clean, spacious, well equipped accommodation.

Our only concern was safety of the high chair, which has already been taken on board by Sykes Staff. Lovely position. Not overlooked at all, really peaceful, ideal with a little one. Nearby Lake, cafe, play area etc very welcoming.

Very good, stylish,modern well maintained lodge.

So clean and comfortable. Modern kitchen and equipment. Everything so close by like Teso , Lidle, Iceland etc. Lake just 2 min walking distance. Very quite and private place. There is a gym as well. 10/10

We were extremely happy with the lodge when we arrived.

The lodge was very clean, spacious and in a great location. We would definitely stay again and hope for better weather next time although the washer dryer was a great help. The only slight downside was the Wifi. It was so intermittent and kept losing the signal every few seconds so much so it was not really usable.

Wonderful stay at Meadow Lodge, despite the weather!

It is beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the stunning surroundings and made full use of the hot tub. Thank you Kim and Di, we look forward to visiting again

Everything was spot on , from booking to information on codes and keys to get in once arrived .

Will use again, Excellent all round communication was excellent too.
