    “Good location close to Tavistock.”

The lodge was clean and generally comfortable but, for us, there are some maintenance issues that need resolution. The mirror on the bathroom cabinet and the storage trays in the ensuite are rusty; a number of the blinds in the lounge area are broken meaning the you cannot enjoy the great view and the log burner has a notice on it not to use due to health and safety. The limited wifi and the lack of log burner should be made clear in the advertised details available before booking to help people decide if this is what they want.

Thankyou for your feedback. In response to your comments, yes moisture has got behind the glass of the shave cabinet and it is to be replaced. The shower caddy's are replaced each season. The log burner is not to be used as previously guests have left such a mess and not cleaned the burner. The cleaning team do not clean woodburners. We also had to trim the carpet due to sparks from the fire and also part of the flue was replaced due to damage. The blinds are not broken they are fixed. The blinds on the patio doors kept getting ripped off due to guests leaving the blinds down and opening the doors. The breeze would then rip the blind off. The other blinds are fixed as guests kept breaking all the strings and blinds. Sadly a lot of people do not respect the fact that someone "owns" the holiday lett. I am sorry that our lodge did not meet your expectations. Property Owner
