We have stayed on this park before at a nearby lodge so we knew what to expect.

We love the park. This particular property could be better though. The downstairs double bed creaks every time you move so sleeping in it was not fun as woke every time I turned over. The floor upstairs is super creaky and you can hear everyone moving around. The shower downstairs is not worth bothering with - it is that weak and impossible to get to a consistent temperature. No instructions for the shower or the TV. The patio door lock was broken when we arrived and despite reporting this to the number for maintenance at the property on the day we arrived, it was not fixed by the time we left after a week. We had opened it when we arrived because of the sweltering heat and then it could not be locked - so the property was not secure over our first night there so that was a sleepless night, on alert for intruders. The park maintenance chap came the Sunday morning and said he would "speak to a glazier mate" but we never heard from him again during the week we were there. Messaged the owner and they gave us instructions to sort of lift the door slightly when closing and after some fiddling and numerous tries, we managed to lock it - but were too afraid to open it again for the entire week we were there in case we couldn't lock it again. Despite 32 degree heat all week, nobody came to fix the door and no one offered to provide any fans or air conditioning. The one window in the gaming bedroom didn't open either, something else we reported to maintenance on the day we arrived, but nothing was done. The patio furniture (even if we could have used it without going out the front door and around the side to the back) was poor - very rough and hard and no pleasure to sit on. The sofas are also very uncomfortable. They look good - we thought a place to stretch out on each side would be perfect - unfortunately there are bars going across the sofa every 2 feet or so and it made the sofas so uncomfortable unless you sat straight just on one cushion with your feet flat on the floor. No lounging possible without bars digging into you or various parts of your anatomy going numb. A well equipped property in a a lovely location on a great park, but in need of some maintenance before we would return another time. Pool and gym booking was seamless, pub on site nice. Lovely area and we did have a great holiday but we spent as much time as possible out of the house because it was too hot - this could have been much better if the patio door had actually opened.
