Bracken

Had a lovely time at this little hut, which was beautifully designed and so tranquil.

Highly recommend coming here, although if you just sat nav it and don’t read the directions properly you will get a little lost (like us!) recommend using what 3 words (speared.tonight.bloomers) as this will take you directly to the hut. Will definitely come again. Obviously this is self catering so bring food and products (shampoo etc) but there is a little shop 2.4 miles away if you do need anything and Bude is a 15 minute drive which has a few supermarkets on the outskirts.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Bracken.

The shepherds hut is just as described with everything supplied. The hot tub was an added bonus with a view of sheep...amazing

Had a wonderful relaxing time , WIFI ,Not needed ,,came to escape ,enjoyed visiting places around the area ,,dogs loved it as well , if you have never tried then have a go ,,we had everything we needed .

Clean, peaceful, private and dog friendly. Great location for day trips to Tintagal, Bostcastle and Bude. Hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of walking. Would highly recommend.

The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. The location was perfect—quiet, surrounded by nature! The host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back for another peaceful getaway!

Absolutely amazing time away, Hut tub and fire pit was out of this world just sat in the hot tub looking up at the stars listening to the firer crackling, 100 perfect going aga and already told friend they need to go stay there so peaceful, everything you needed was in the hut

Hut was perfect with everything you needed. Loads of outdoor space for our dog and he absolutely loved it! Bought eggs from the honesty box and they were delicious! Loads of wood supplied for the hot tub and fire pit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bracken.

The location is perfect – peaceful and private, yet ideally situated to explore both Cornwall and Devon with ease. The accommodation had everything we needed beautifully presented, clean, and really well-equipped. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings under the stars. We also made great use of the fire pit and griddle for BBQs at night with lovely views. A special mention to Julie, the owner, who was always on hand to help and provide helpful information about the area – friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Absolutely amazing getaway, perfect location.

Private and peaceful while o ly being a short drive from the beautiful Bude, Black-rock and Widemouth Bay! The hot tub was a real classy feature and just added an extra element! Would definitely reccomend and if you’re looking for a sign to book this stay…. This is that sign!!

Absolutely awesome- plenty warm enough, great hot water for the shower- hot tub was easy enough to use and loved the lambs frolicking around in the field 10 meters away Would recommend it

We had a fantastic stay over new year at Bracken.

It had everything we needed and was super dog friendly. The hot tub was a perfect addition! We will 100% be back and have already recommended it to friends and family. One little recommendation would be a heated towel rail in the bathroom, we had a really rainy day and had nowhere to dry our coats and towels.

Lovely get away!

Prefect as described. Hut itself was clean and tidy, lovely size, had a mini book shelf, and games/pet supplies under the bed, which was a nice touch. Had a good amount of wood for the fire and hot tub. A folder that explained how to use the hot tub etc and a cleaning tick list so you could see they had clean it before our stay. We were facing the farm land which had, chickens, goats, sheep and a pound with ducks. We were based around many farms as you could hear the farm animals around us. We were fenced in so our dog could roam freely without getting out. There was another hut behind us, people in that hut were friendly and quiet, you couldn’t see them unless we walked along the path to our car. Overall it was a great, have recommend it to many friends and family and would definitely come back again. ☺️

Its a beautiful hut, really well furnished and the hot tub was a great addition. We would definitely recommend a stay here, Julie and Andrew were lovely and we will definitely be returning.
