We loved our week long stay.
Gorgeous surroundings and fantastic host! Comfortable beds and well furnished. Parking was easy. Amenities just a short drive. Daughter loved the animals, as did we all. Greeted by graceful peacocks each morning followed by stroking the cows. We loved it so much, we've booked next year too. Thank you for our wonderful stay.
Beautiful place, great location.
Far enough away from it all that you felt in the countryside. But never more than a few minutes drive to everything you needed. Beautiful house, surrounded by a lovely farm. Very quiet apart from a few peacocks who liked to visit. Highly recommend
The moment we pulled up to the property we were so positively surprised at how accurately the property had been represented by photos.
The place is secluded without being secluded and really does feel so quiet and uninterrupted. The animals thrilled the children especially the peacocks but also the cows and horses. The bedrooms were more than adequately sized and the play area in between with stunning far fetching views was amazing. Downstairs was stunning. The only minor negative id say was the stinging nettles. Both our children were badly stung in a very obvious place of a stinging nettle. We did cut this particular one out to prevent others being stung. But in this setting we do expect this level of nature. Water pressure from showers was at times reduced to a trickle... not ideal but didn't hinder washing. Certain areas could do with a duster for cob webs... but please dont mistake this for dirty. As it truly was not. The place really was lovely. And such a short drive to lovely Teignmouth and also the likes of Paignton and Dawlish Warren. Thank you for having us. We enjoyed our stay. The views were something else.
