“We stayed at The Hut in Dartmouth during the first week of August 2025 (3 adults and 1 child).”

That said, the property itself feels a little rundown. There are far too many decorative items around the house, which means limited practical space to put clothes or food. Some furniture and fittings were in poor condition (a broken chair, sofa, outside bench, and even some décor on the toilet door). No frying pan, only one wok, and others are rusty – so if you plan cooking, bring your own. Towels provided were old, smelly, and even had holes, so we would recommend bringing your own.
Overall, it’s a quiet and convenient base in a great location, but the house could definitely benefit from some updating and better maintenance.
