Unlike last year when we stayed there this year it was scruffy and dirty jnder all furniture the fridge did not cool dlwn cortectly and the bed in yhe main bedroom was not comforyable at all did not have a good nigjts sleep for 2 weeks come on sykes ypur propdryy ate usually top rated unfortunately this not very disapointed will not go back there again
Coast and country are very efficient.
The Sail Loft was very clean and lovely. The sofa was very low and it was difficult for my mum to get up. The steps into the chalet was also very high which again was a problem. All in all if was a lovely chalet.
We stayed here with two boys.
The challet itself was lovely and satisfied our needs. It had everything we needed, the double seemed quite small and not the most comfortable but nothing too bad. The site itself didn't have much going for it, ours wanted to play out but there weren't even many kids on site when we stayed which was a shame but 6 mins drive into Dartmouth which is beautiful for jogs in the morning and easy to park at 7am! There is a walk just to right of the site entrance but it's very steep so if planning to jog that you want to be good as it's a mile of downhill! Great location for seeing lots of nice places. Hope cove was great for sandy beach. We saw dolphins near mattiscombe sands at the lighthouse. The Paignton water park was excellent for kids especially those old enough to be going round on own. (Ours did aged 9/11). Salcombe and north sands beach is nice and quite near and you can get the little ferry from salcombe to south sands. All in all for the money it was a great location and as I said the place itself was nice to stay in. WiFi worked most of the time, seemed a bit dodgy when it rained for some reason. TVs in all rooms and we found sofa very comfy.
