Designed with inclusivity in mind, the lodge is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free access, wide doorways, and an adapted bathroom.
Inside, the open-plan living space is bright and welcoming, thanks to large windows that frame the landscape and flood the room with natural light.
At the heart of the lodge is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table made for lingering over lazy breakfasts, and a relaxed sitting area where you can put your feet up after a day in the great outdoors.
Sliding doors lead out to your private balcony, ideal for morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply watching the world slow down.
There are two inviting bedrooms: a spacious king-size with its own en-suite, and a comfortable twin that’s perfect for children or friends.
A sleek shower room and a separate utility with washer and dryer complete the setup, ensuring all the practical touches are covered.

Very comfortable and well equipped property, good comms from the owner and the welcome bits were very much appreciated.

We had a great stay at Owl Lodge, loved the location, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (except for the cows as neighbours in the nearby field!
) The host was very responsive if needed. The lodge is well equipped with everything you would need. We love Cornwall and exploring the different beaches! We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay and the location was good to access most of the Cornwall attractions.
The only reason it didn’t get 5 star was a small number of minor issues. The information prior to arrival didn’t make it clear that parking was a little tricky and it would have been helpful to know what equipment was available I.e, hairdryer etc. to save packing space. The guest info in the cottage gives very little information regarding the local area, places to eat etc and what is expected on departure regards bedding, towels etc. Finally it would be helpful to have a vacuum cleaner and a mop to help keep the cottage clean.

Heating Information for Owl Lodge
Owl Lodge is very well insulated, so it warms up quickly and holds heat for a long time. To help with energy conservation and ensure the system runs efficiently, we kindly ask guests to:
Switch off the heating or keep it below 19°C when it isn’t needed, such as when you’re out or overnight.
Only use the heating as required to stay comfortable.
The owner does keep an eye on the system remotely and may make adjustments when the property is unoccupied to help maintain efficiency.
Please note that while utilities are included in the booking price on a fair use basis, the owner may claim against the Good Housekeeping Bond if usage is found to be excessively high.
Note: For guest safety, Owl Lodge has an external camera positioned by the entrance, facing the car parking area. It does not overlook or record any interior spaces.
