The focus of the photos on the booking site was less on the the actual property and more on the park and some of its more glamorous properties.

This was a bit misleading. Any images of properties other than the one associated with the booking should be made clear they are not the property being booked. The property itself was perfect for our needs and the location cannot be faulted, easy access to the coastal path, the nearby hill forts and cafe as well as the great views when walking into Brixham, plenty of Dolphins and Seals seen on the walks at the forts and around Brixham harbour. The only real feedback I could give is that there was a door mat which was on the outside of the property which provided no benefit to drying footwear when entering the property on wet days. The property was one of only a few which had no outdoor furniture to sit on and although we do not get many dry days this years was a bit of an exception and it would have been nice to maybe sit outside and enjoy the sun. It would be possible to maybe have portable deck chairs inside the property that could be used outside if weather allowed or more permanent ones that could be left outside.

Overall, our stay at the chalet wasn’t a very comfortable one.

The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable also different from one pictured, bed was rock hard, lack of basic amenities such as toilet brush, oven glove (burnt myself) and mat for the bathroom. The chalet had a funny smell every time you entered. All in all it looks very tired. Needs a good lick of paint and some pictures to make it more homely (picture in living room on advertisement not on the wall). Also one plug socket in the main bedroom isn’t enough. It may have usb ports but most chargers these days are not usbs and require a plug. Therefore it would be useful for more plugs as the lamps couldn’t not be used or even put an extension lead in. The plug was also making a high pitched screeching noise when switched on and off. Which made it hard to feel at ease in the room. Had to sleep the other end of the bed to try and get away from the sound. The few positives I have is that the location was great for local areas, internet was quick and shower was nice once right temperature was maintained. The on-site pool was great as well.

Chalet was very tired looking and not the cleanest.

Could do with a good lick of paint and a good clean inside & out.
