“Interior needs updating.”

Settee most uncomfortable. One bedroom window could only be shut from outside. Could do with a step rail at the entrance as these were steep. The base of the cooker kept falling off every time you open the oven door.

Chalet 35 is a welcoming retreat near the fishing port town of Brixham, Devon.

With open-plan living space, and a short stroll from the beach, this pet-friendly abode is ideal for a family or couples looking for a Devon getaway.

Discover the open-plan living space, where you can cook up a storm in the kitchen, before dining at the table and enjoying a hearty meal, and afterwards enjoy a movie night in the sitting area.

When sleep calls, freshen up in the bathroom by soaking in a warm bath or steamy shower, before settling into one of the two bedrooms, choosing between a double and a twin.

Outside, spend the morning with a cup of coffee out on the lawn before heading out for another day of beach fun.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
