Inside, the open-plan living space is bright and welcoming, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a cosy sitting area with an electric fire – perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Lodge was very comfortable and clean but there was an issue with lots of bird muck all over the decking and garden furniture due to being under large trees.

We spent our first night trying to clean it off. Having no reception onsite I went to the sister park the next day to report it. This was dealt with the next morning when the decking was cleaned as promised. Unfortunately due to lodge location this was an ongoing issue all week. The facilities in the lodge were good but there was a distinct lack of kitchen utensils and cutlery. There was just 6 of plates, cutlery glasses, etc. This meant we had to wash up between a meal if having a starter or bread. There was no bread knife and the only other knife was so blunt we had to tear the bread. There were no place mats or coasters so had to put hot plates on the dining table which is not good for the longevity of the furniture. It stated there was WIfi but this was chargable. This should be stated in the information the property details. We didn't then expect to pay £12 for Wifi. The park was nice and quiet but due to no facilities being open there was nothing to do. The facilities were available on the sister site but it was just easier to go into the town. The park has potential and the lodges are nice and modern but the issues described above let it down badly.
