It was so relaxing and peaceful, and I would definitely go back.

If you’re looking for a place to stay and unwind, it’s definitely worth visiting for some stress relief.

Such a lovely peaceful place with a great view while sat in bed in morning with a cup of coffee.

The hut itself was really comfortable and had everything you would need. It was the perfect place for a quiet weekend break for mine and the wife’s wedding anniversary

If you are looking for peace & quiet, surrounded by nature and birdsong than this is it. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper upon arrival - a really thoughtful touch. Thank you to the owners Peter & Lisa. The hut is immaculate and so cosy, with everything you need there. The bed is so comfy, and we had a great night's sleep, and the underfloor heating kept us warm during our stay. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after a full day visiting local walks and sights. With the bonus of a buggy to get to and from the hut, everything is so thought out. We will definitely be returning!

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay!

So peaceful and being in the hot tub was luxurious. Really comfortable bed and provided plenty of kitchen utensils. Quite hard to relax and watch TV as it is very high up and the chairs aren’t the comfiest but the comfy bed made up for that. Stunning views with lots of lovely walks and cafes in Lynton. Would definitely recommend!

We had a super stay at LIttle Silver Pheasant.

It was so clean and cosy, especially with the underfloor heating which was needed as it turned quite cold during our stay. The bed was very comfy and helped for a good nights sleep after days out exploring. We were lucky enough to have a few clear evenings so sat in the hot tub star gazing. Driving 'Gladys' the golf buggy was great fun too. A lovely relaxing week!

We loved our 3 night visit.

The shepherd huts were great, well kept, maintained and a friendly welcome awaited us. After getting acquainted with our golf buggy and heading to the hut, we enjoyed the tranquil environment and the hot tub, even though it is Autumn. We would definitely recommend and will likely return no matter the time of year. Thank you Peter & Lisa for a memorable break.

We had a great stay and would definitely do it again

We spent a very relaxing 4 nights at the Little Silver Pheasant.

We found the hut decorated and furnished to a high standard, the king size bed was super comfy and the little en-suite equipped with a nice powerful shower. The kitchen had everything we needed with a gas stove, fridge with ice box and cute woodburner. We used the underfloor heating which made the hut so cosy whilst watching TV in the chilly evenings, very simple to use. The surroundings were so peaceful with a lovely view over fields; not a car to be heard, just lovely birdsong in the morning to wake up to and the occasional owl hooting at nighttime! The golf buggies were a great idea and fun to drive. We used the hot tub a couple of times, a nice relaxation in bubbling, bath temperature water - lovely. Would highly recommend the Little Silver Pheasant.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Little Pheasant.

The hut is perfect, super clean and thoughtfully equipped. We loved the hot tub and used it at least once a day. The hedges provide total privacy. We enjoyed our generous welcome hamper and got very excited about driving the golf cart. The hosts are super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend

Absolutely perfect for a really quiet getaway

We had a perfect stay as the Little Pheasant was over and above our expectations.

Friendly and welcoming host who was on hand even though we had no problems. Everything stated in the advert was as it "said on the tin". A true touch of luxury. We found this place to be the ideal "getaway" for our romantic weekend, with the added bonus of sunny weather for the duration of our stay. We thoroughly recommend the Little Pheasant and intend to return.

Amazing place, has everything you need and more.

The hot tub was a real treat, clean and hot! The pheasant is spacious and clean, decent shower and open fire. This place overall is a hidden gem of a stay. Perfect to relax, but close enough for some coastal walks!

A truly luxurious remote staycation venue.

Peter and Lisa are the greatest of hosts. I am definitely visiting again.

Absolutely beautiful place to spend a weekend, the owners were extremely helpful, the accommodation was perfect and we were lovely and cosy in very cold weather.

The welcome hamper was delightful especially the homemade bread and apple juice. It was amazing to sit in the hot tub with snow following around us and then relax with a lovely glass of wine, also from the hamper in front of the wood burner. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well, the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We loved the little golf buggy to drive to and from the car park.

We could not be happier with our 3 night stay in the little silver pheasant, we felt we could relax from the minute we arrived.

The pre arrival information was really helpful and the property was easy to find, the golf buggies made the stay even more fun and the arrival package was really thoughtful, the property was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hot tub was always ready and very private and luxurious. We cooked a few meals during the stay and the property was well equipped. The bed was really comfy with amazing views all around and very quiet. We would love to return again soon.

Welcome gift was a nice touch, freshly baked bread and their own apple juice the orchard. Hot tub clean and positioned right next to the hut so felt completely on your own and very private. Brilliant recommendations from pubs/tourist attractions/walks/Beeches, sorry to leave, Enjoyed! It all, The huts are amazing! Welcome basket was fantastic! This is a little bit of paradise! Such a beautiful shepherd’s hut in a wonderful location. Everything was perfect from the welcome hamper to the superb hot tub and the fun golf buggy! We experienced every sort of weather but it made the holiday even more special, especially when it snowed! With the wood burner lit it was so cosy, though the under floor heating was enough in itself. The perfect place for some rest and relaxation but close enough to get to a range of amenities and coastal towns. Thank you Peter and Lisa for a wonderful stay!

We have had a truly fantastic, really comfortable and relaxing break in Little Silver Pheasant.

Every single need was catered for and every inch of the accommodation had been used to maximise its storage etc. The underfloor heating provided great heat and we didn’t need to use the log burner. We had one night of torrential rain but the roof is so well insulated, we couldn’t hear it much at all. Hot tub was lovely and warm and immaculately clean. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wishing to stay locally.

Lovely, well equipped hut.

Underfloor heating keeps it really warm, didn't need to light the wood burner one during our stay. Hot tub really spacious for two and private, however privacy is at the expense of the lovely view which is hidden behind the the laurel hedge when you are in the tub. If you want the view then book one of the other huts, they all look lovely, but for privacy book Little Silver Pheasant.

Wish the weather had been colder to allow us to have the log burner on. The hot tub was perfect and so warm. The bed was super comfortable. The views from the big are amazing.

This is a superb destination and we highly recommended.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute. The facilities are excellent with no shortcuts taken on the finishes - a real feather in the cap for the owners. Comfy bed, great shower, hot tub that we spent much time in and a superb little coffee machine. So much to see and do in the region as well. Do yourself a favour and book Little Silver Pheasant.

Facilities were outstanding. Hot tub well maintained. I never knew I needed a golf buggy on a holiday, but now I do. The accommodation is small, as expected in a shepherd’s hut, but due to being so well fitted, it was manageable. Views were so lovely. Quiet and relaxing, everything I wanted it to be.

A lovely location with great views where yyou can while away the hours in the hot tub or snug in the hut. A really nice place to spend sometime doing nothing. Pleanty to do in the area but great to do nothing.

We had the most amazing 4 night stay.

Everything was perfect, from the welcome basket, to the golf buggy and the hot tub! We had such a relaxing time from the moment we got there. The hosts were so welcoming even when we arrived very late in the evening, and they left us to it to relax, but we’re always on hand if we needed anything. The accommodation was perfect, beds really comfy, lovely hot shower and towels/ robes provided. The kitchen area had everything you needed, also a Nespresso coffee machine! We had such a lovely stay & would highly recommend.

Its clean and comfy .If you need just to get away and chill then this is where you need to be , the hosts (Peter &lisa )are very helpful and nothing is to much trouble ,the hot tub is to die for !! .The golf buggy down to the hut is really fun to drive and makes your stay even better ,we will be back as soon as we can get there

What a relaxing stay!

We arrived about as stressed as we could be and left feeling fully serene. Loved the golf buggies to get around, that was a lot of fun. The shepherds hut had everything anyone could want, seriously the hosts thought of everything! Including a lovely welcome basket including eggs from their own chickens, lovely touch! The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we just wanted to spend all of our time in there. Thank you very much to the hosts, we couldn't have asked for a better couple of days away!

Loved our stay here, from the lovely double Shepard's hut to everything that went with it … the lovely gift basket lots of lovely treats, wine, bread, honey, biscuits to enjoy with a brew to name but a few items that was in there.

To the lovely decor, the views from the hot tub… and the golf buggy to get you to and from the car park… oh what fun. Will definitely recommend this lovely place.

A perfect retreat with everything you'll need to make your stay feel very relaxed and tranquil.

The cabin was very well equipped, and had all the little details covered. Great use of space, making it very cosy. The hot-tub was wonderful to bubble away in, with beautiful surroundings to view. The cleanliness was immaculate and can't fault the owners for what they have provided. Will certainly be back, as time just seemed to go fast forward in a flash. Left relaxed taking some lovely memories. Thank you again for the stay, and looking forward to booking again.

Loved our stay - Peter and Lucy were great, nothing was a problem.

Being able to charge the car was brilliant and the golf buggy a great and fun idea, but helpful as the slope is quite steep leaving the huts. The homemade honey, bread and other welcome gifts were really thoughtful. Thanks to Peter and Lucy we will visit again.

We absolutely loved the Little Silver Pheasant.

It was beautifully designed, clean, cosy and exactly as described. It has everything you could possibly need. One things is that the 2 local pubs in the have both unfortunately closed down so the literature just needs updating, however there was a really lovely pub just 10 minutes drive away in Chittlehampton. *****

We had such an amazing stay in the little silver pheasant, it was quiet and so lovely to relax in the hot tub under the stars.

Then come into the warm hut with the wood burner on, we don’t won’t to leave, but we will definitely be returning. Thank you Peter for an amazing stay :)

A lot of love and thought has gone into making it a truly wonderful place to stay. Stunning location, views from the hot tub were great, and what a way to relax after a day out walking. We too enjoyed using the golf buggy to get to and from our Shepherds hut. Thank you to Peter and Lisa and their team for all your hard work. The shepherds hut , hot tub and surrounding area was immaculate. We will definitely recommend a stay here, peaceful and relaxing and very private.

On arrival at the electric gate entrance it I was clear everything was organised to a first class standard.

Such a relaxing place with the assurance should you need the owners attention they would be there quickly. Golf buggy was fun and hot tub great. The welcome basket was the best we have received.

The owners have thought of everything.

As expected space is minimal but with clever storage solutions eg under bed drawers etc, it wasn't a problem. The surroundings are stunning and having the golf buggy was a fun and useful addition. We will definitely book again.
