We had a fantastic stay at this 4-bed chalet—it was absolutely perfect for our group of four.
The space felt just right: comfortable, well laid out, and never cramped. The beach-themed interior decor really stood out and gave the whole place a relaxing, holiday vibe. It was thoughtfully done without feeling over the top, and it added a lovely touch to the overall experience. The chalet was also very well equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean, functional, and clearly well maintained. The location is another big highlight—perfectly situated for exploring the Bude coast walk and nearby beaches, making it ideal for anyone looking to enjoy scenic walks and seaside time. Just a couple of things to be aware of: there’s no central heating, so it’s worth planning accordingly during cooler months, and the power supply is prepaid, which means it can run out if not monitored. However, the owners were incredibly kind and quick to sort out the prepaid supply when needed, which we really appreciated. Overall, a wonderful property that we would happily return to and recommend to others looking for a cosy, well-designed getaway.
The property was clean, warm and cosy, the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with everything we needed.
Bedding and towels are provided. Beds were made up when we arrived. There is free WiFi at the property, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs. The village of Kilkhampton is just a few minutes walk away, where there is a Co-Op, local butchers and a couple of pubs. There is also a bar on site which we visited. The site is a great base for visits to Bude, Boscastle, Clovelly, Tintagel and Padstow as well as some lovely beaches. I would recommend this property
