Number 24 The Park

Our 2nd visit to No24 very good make over and loved the new shower a really cosy cottage hope to be back nexted October.

grass had not been cut outside lodge, making it look a bit untidy, probably just time of year, did not distract from a great holiday, kettle was a little temperamental again no real issue, would definately recomend, and would happily stay again in the future.

We had a great stay here with lovely finishing touches like the dog blankets.

The only parts that disappointed ( slightly) was the heater in the small bedroom didn’t work although the other heaters worked and warmed the place up quickly so it wasn’t a big deal and the internet signal was sometimes low so affected us when we finally sat down to watch some Netflix. Overall it was a great stay, great location and I would 100% stay here again. Easy check in with a key face and the place was very clean and modern. Wish we booked longer.

Great time and fantastic place to stay.

Nice and clean inside, however there was a half used carton of milk in the fridge, half eaten dog ice cream in the freezer with an open bag of ice. There was also a used dish sponge that had seen better days and not even half a toilet roll left for immediate use. It was really difficult to find as the instructions were a bit confusing. We did think that the place would benefit from some sort of dividing gate to close off the sofa area, to keep the dogs from going onto it in the night.

The chalet was well presented and well maintained.

Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery etc. nice area outside to enjoy shaded sunshine. Easy walk into village which has most things available. Park facilities are minimal just a basic bar (just evenings) with pool and ping pong tables. Had a lovely quiet week enjoying Cornwall.

No toilet rolls The plug hole in the shower was not draining so I had to remove the top of the plug and it was matted up with hair and the smell was horrendous The throws were dirty and smelt very doggy, Other them them few issues we had a fabulous stay and were very comfortable in the property

Enjoyed our stay, the cabin was clean and fresh bedding and towels were provided.

The cabin has got everything you need including blankets for the fur babies. Also, a small welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk, this was very welcome when we arrived after a long journey. The owner of the cabin, Suzanne even emailed me to ask if we needed any fresh bedding and towels which was appreciated. The park is a perfect spot for exploring Cornwall with the car, its just the park that was a let down, it’s over grown and run down, with a lot of cabins that look horrendous, it’s a same as I’m sure this park was beautiful in its hay day. This is no fault of the owners of number 24 though, as we felt comfortable and welcomed in their cabin and would definitely stay again.

The new bathroom upgrade was very well appointed and the addition of a new large fridge freezer was greatly appreciated with 4 freezer draws.

Only downside having a very active dog unfortunately there was no enclosed garden space. Seating outside ideal for watching the dog on his long extended lead.

We really enjoyed our stay at Number 24 the Park.

Great location, clean condition, well equipped with all essentials. Highly recommended! We will be back for another stay.

It was easy to find from the instructions given, it was a lovely little place and we enjoyed our stay.

There were a few bits like air freshener plugs and a strip of lights on the floor. There was also some building work going on, on the site but this did not impact us as the noise was pretty minimal. The toilet roll holder was loose so could do with fixing, and would have been good to have a sieve to drain pasta. The shower was really nice, beds were comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen was well furnished but with all the extra decor made it difficult to store food but after we moved a few bits around we had some space. I would stay here again it is a lovely home away from home and very close to lots of things to do it's a shame that we were not staying for longer as we didn't get time to do everything.

It was clean and tidy.The cottage was nicely decorated and felt homely.

Spotlessly clean, and really comfortable stay!

We would definitely stay again. As per the last review, there was a sea view that was not mentioned, which was a lovely surprise and that we enjoyed in evening with a glass of wine! The Lodge itself seems to have had some new additions from the pictures on the website when we originally booked. Very comfortable, the new owners have clearly spent some time and effort with new blinds, bedding etc….. bathroom has been re vamped since the last pictures which again was a nice surprise. The kitchen is very well equipped, with more than just four of everything!!! Location is great, really easy to walk into village for food, supermarket and pub. We missed the opening of the new pub on-site , but looking forward to visiting when we return. You can even get the bus into Bude. We loved Sandymouth Beach , which is less than a ten minute drive and has a lovely café overlooking the bay. It is also dog friendly all year round with no restrictions! Overall, we loved the lodge, loved the area, brilliant value for money and we will be back!

In general number 24 is a lovely place to stay and would love to come back.

It’s a great place to stay being so close to bude and having a coop and pub in short walking distance. The property itself could do with a thorough cleaning as it was a bit grubby in places but with high traffic properties it’s almost to be expected but with a little hunting I found a hoover and a mop and some cleaning supplies, we did find someone else’s headphones presumably from the last person who stayed down the back of the sofa. The cherry on the cake was the unexpected sea view to have your morning coffee with which was very special. Advertised on the listing was a swimming pool and bar but we got an email the week before to say this was not available anymore so just something to be aware of however, this didn’t ruin our visit. We would definitely stop here again as we did shed a tear as we left, thank you x

Easy to find with instructions provided and located in a quiet peaceful area.

We were aware no facilities available on site prior to booking which didn't affect us having a good holiday. Very helpful maps and information provided by the owners. Just a few niggles with the lodge: the blinds need to be changed to blackout blinds/ curtains as they affect sleep quality. The bathroom needs attention ( loose toilet seat & mold ). I realise the ownership changed recently & they probably haven't had time to do much prior to our arrival. Otherwise we had a lovely comfortable holiday.

As there wasn’t a blind over the Kitchen window our privacy felt compromised in the evenings.

There had been one there in the past as bracket fixing holes were in the window frame. That aside it was an enjoyable experience.

A very nice, clean property with all facilities you require.
