Really enjoyed our stay at Rosecraddoc.

We used to own this holiday home and I am glad to see that it has been further improved and updated, except for the sofas, looking very grubby. Clean and tidy, everything we needed was there, air fryer is a great addition. We love this part of Cornwall and Looe is great off-season. I agree with other comments that the WiFi code should be put somewhere prominent, we also found it by luck. Location/map of the local shop would be good, it can be tricky to find. All good.

Our stay was ok.

Property not as listed. No pub nearby, closed in 2019. Lots of out of date food in cupboards and fridge. Dirty air fryer residue of fat and chips in the bottom. Cold at night as quilts are poor quality. Wardrobe in second bedroom very shaky also coffee table in lounge area. Leaflets and information mostly out of date. Don’t think owner has been there for a long time, definitely feels like a business and quite unloved.

The cottage was lovely and had everything you could want.

The only down side was that there were no amenities on site. The listing stated that there was a shop and a pub less than a mile away. We couldn’t find either. There was nowhere within walking distance.

This was our second stay here and like last time, the cottage was home from home, providing us with a base for visiting my Step Father in Callington.

Well equipped, clean and quiet and pet friendly for our staffie!

We loved staying here as the chalet was cosy, very well equipped and beds were comfy.

We didn't find the wi-fi code until we were writing in the visitor book the morning we were leaving, so maybe putting it somewhere more noticeable would be good.

We had a pleasant, relaxing stay and would be happy to come back.

Owner was very responsive. The property is great for a small family and well located for day trips and to pop into Liskeard for supplies

Had an amazing stay at the Villa.

The villa was gorgeous, super clean, had everything you needed, with sound system and cool varieties of board games being the highlight. 6 mins drive from Liskeard town located in a peaceful locality. Great communication from Sykes Cottages throughout. Highly recommend.

Our visit was to be able to spend some time with my Step Dad in Callington who we hadn’t been able to see during the pandemic, we now have a dog so had to find some where nearby and pet friendly, this lovely bungalow was perfect, well equipped, very clean, home from home, will most likely book again later in the year, now we know it is here!

A lovely place to stay, quiet and secluded but close enough to the town for shopping and essentials.

Nice clean property, well kept, and everything we needed was there. Our first experience with an air fryer as well, we'll definitely get one of those in the near future. We'd definitely come again.

Cottage had all the facilities and looked exactly as advertised in pics. Perfect location to reach different places in Cornwall and Devon. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little bungalow and in a good location on site, it was well equipped and a good size.

It was a really good base to visit different parts of Cornwall.

Lovely cottage/bungalow/chalet?

what ever it's called it's lovely. There is not a lot to do at the actual location however. It is an excellent base to head out of everyday to go to the various wonders that Cornwall has to offer. Nothing is really too far a drive, and the town of Liskeard itself is literally 5 minutes drive away, 1 road, super easy to get to. Looe is also very nice, and again not too far by car or train. The beach at Looe is not dog friendly though.

We really enjoyed staying g here, it was like a home from home.

It had all of your creature comforts. It was clean and some lovely touches left for you, should you want them, lime biscuits etc. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much for our stay.

Great little bungalow.

Spotlessly clean. Really well stocked. Tastefully decorated with a seaside theme. Comfortable and cosy.

The cottage had everything we needed apart from larger saucepans and possibly a 4 slice toaster if you were a family visiting.

The photos did not show how close you are to the bungalow next door, but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We probably will not revisit until the Village Inn is restored but would recommend the village to others for lovely surroundings and cleanliness.

This was our first visit with our dog and we found an excellent, well equipped and comfortable cottage.

The cleanliness was 5 star. The site is in the perfect location to enable visits to the beautiful cornish beaches and surrounding areas. The WiFi speed was excellent. We highly recommend the holiday cottage.

We had a lovely holiday, the only down side was the sofas were extremely low, my parents had trouble getting up.

Apart from that it was a nice holiday

Quiet complex which suited us well

This is our 2nd stay at Ballasalla - the property was superbly presented for our arrival, spotlessly clean, with the added nicetie of seasonal mince pies.

Ballasalla meets all our needs, is functional and perfectly located for trips to the coast - thank you, we hope to be back in the New Year.

A more reliable and faster Internet would be beneficial

The good points.

Property was clean and well equipped, the owners family was helpful. The bad points The sofas were very soft, and were difficult to get up from, the beds were metal frame & sprung and were OK but not great. However the worst thing is that the advert was wrong on a number of points. A) Fishing has not been available at nearby Rosecraddoc Manor for approx. 18 Months!!! This was one of my search criteria. B) The WiFi was unusable I had to stand outside another bungalow approx 75 yards away to connect, by the time I got back to Ballasalla it kept dropping out every couple of seconds. Another of my search criteria. C) The pub which was within 0.2 miles was not open and had not been since last year, this was disappointing as we would have used this.

Although I contacted you regarding the availability of WIFI after reading previous negative feedback and an assurance that the wifi had been sorted out there was still no wifi.

The owner sent me the password to log in and actually sent a picture with a star on it showing where to stand outside the bungalow next door to get a signal. The owner next door has installed their own receiver and they told us it was the only way they ever got a signal. The bungalow itself was immaculate and faultless in a beautiful location.

Directions could be more helpful.

Turn left into the drive of the white cottage would be more accurate. The left turn is a road which leads to a farm and a different set of cottages. Clear

Had a great week at the bungalow No internet at all could not find out how to log in but didn't let it spoil the holiday I had my own but others in party didn't

Ballasalla is clean, well equipped, well maintained and comfortable.

You can't buy the weather - which unfortunately wasn't the best but we enjoyed the holiday. The only problem we encountered was that we were unable to access WiFi.

Overall everything was great, the only downside was that if the leaflet I read was correct, you have to pay for WiFi for each device.

Location was great very beautifully and peaceful.

Central to many parts of Cornwall. Would suit small young family to elderly couples.

Both my partner and I were delighted with the Bungalow.

The facilities there are absolutely first class. More home from home and so clean and tidy it was far more than we both expected. The site was also very clean and well laid out. I have already made some recommendations to friends and family. I would stress that unless holiday makers enjoy walking a car is essential, to us it was an excellent base from which we were able to travel around Cornwall. That is something we usually do whenever on holiday. Overall, we recommend a FIVE STAR RATING.

Rosecraddock Bungalows - Ballasalla was a perfect property and location for our needs.

The site was peaceful and fortunately, the great weather complimented the setting and opportunity to explore nearby Looe- Cornwall - thanks we hope to return again.
