Elizabeth & Neil were wonderful hosts, it was not just a case of the property being better than the site displays or the cleanliness but the overall supportive & welcoming communication & meeting on arrival plus during the stay.

Added benefits were the homemade scones, useful folder and being really approachable. Thank you for an incredible time.

The property was spotless, the owners are next door so available if you need anything. The views are fantastic. Sitting with a morning cuppa in the garden listening to the birdsong was amazing. The property is completed to a really high standard, one of the best we have stayed in. Somewhere we will be recommending to all of our friends.

Nelli Lodge at Mile End is gorgeous, peaceful, and set in a beautifully secluded spot. It was perfect for us and perfect for our dog, who clearly enjoyed his holiday as much as we did. A fantastic stay.

It was amazing, the hosts are amazing and always available to help with any problems, (we needed help heating up the hot tub)

The lodge is perfect and Elizabeth is just lovely (we didn’t meet Neil) As others have said it is such a nice touch to have the welcome scones and doggy biscuits.

Towels and dressing gowns are provided. The bed is very comfy and the bedding felt sumptuous. The rooms are so spacious. We had a mix of weather and lit the log burner on a couple of evenings which added to the wonderful ambience. The views across to Dartmoor are beautiful with some gorgeous sunsets. We will not hesitate to return. Thank you.

Elizabeth and Neil were very welcoming to their Lodge. We could not fault it - comfortable, well equipped, with excellent views towards Dartmoor. We had rather inclement weather during our stay but the woodburner and hot tub were areal bonus. Highly recommend.

A lovely remote lodge with beautiful views across Devon to Dartmoor.

Situated between Crediton and Tiverton and a lovely riverside pub, The Fishermans Cot, a few minutes away in Bickleigh. The friendly hosts, Elizabeth and Neil, leave you alone but are on hand if needed. Dog friendly with enclosed garden.

Welcomed with a nice warm hot tub which very relaxing after a long drive.

Had a wonderful stay.

The little touches that mean so much: dressing gowns, coffee machine, milk and tea bags. Loved the hot tub and amazing view. Owners were on hand if needed, but not intrusive.

Owner greeted us on arrival which was lovely and had preheated hot tub ready for use.If we needed help with anything Elizabeth said just message her.Lodge was well looked after and had everything we needed.Would definitely like to stay again.

We thourally enjoyed our stay at Nelli lodge, it was perfect.

The hosts were very attentive but only when asked I might add (extra logs etc) . The dog secure so no worries about her getting loose . Was fabulous !

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings with views more satisfying than any holiday I have had abroad, the lodge is perfect for a romantic getaway.

The wood firedhot tub is really lovely when the evenings get cooler and the stove inside really adds to the ambience. Honestly the best long weekend we have had and up there with our honeymoon in Greece with how much we enjoyed our stay. And the bamboo viscose sheets on the bed are amazingly comfortable, a brilliant sleep every night. So much so we have bought a couple of sets for ourselves. Thanks to Elizabeth and Neil for a great time away!

This is a great location for a lodge, amazing views.

Highly finished accommodation, everything you need home from home. Relaxed mornings waking up to the animals that surround the property. Also after a long dog walk it was nice to get in the hot tub and relax.

Idyllic little spot for quiet getaway or base to go discovering the region.

The lodge is wonderful & cozy but with a roomy feel, it has everything you need & smashing views of the valley. You don’t need to overpack on groceries as it’s only short drive to a supermarket or better still there are some fabulous farm shops near by.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nelli Lodge so much so that we didn’t want to leave!

Pictures on the site do not do this place justice, it is beautiful and very peaceful. We loved the little touches of homemade scones and even had a little jar of dog treats for our dog. Elizabeth and Neil are perfect hosts. We will definitely be booking to return again in future.

If you want a few days away from everything just to relax and be away from the world this place is definitely for you. We will certainly be returning.

Had a great stay at Nelli Lodge.

It is situated in a great place within easy reach of the towns and villages in the area. A really peaceful and secluded spot with beautiful views and we loved the log burning stove and hot tub. Logs where available from the owners by phone and dropped off promptly along with glorious tasty farm eggs all at a reasonable price. I would describe the accommodation as cosy comfortable and well fitted out will all one needs. Parking is secure and easy.

Me and my partner booked Nelli Lodge for 4 nights in December and it was amazing!

! I would 100% recommend booking here if you're thinking about it. It's perfect size place nice and cosy without being cramped! It has everything you need in there for cooking in, a coffee machine and a nice fire place and tv with all the good apps like Netflix. The hot tub is also lush and only takes an hour or so to heat up. The garden is nice and big with great views and the sky is lush in the mornings. It's also in a great location with lots nearby. I specially liked the book the hosts left with every bit of information you need in it for whatever you want to do! We brought our dog so loved the page on all the good walks nearby. The hosts themselves are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. Deffo book it!!!

Wonderful holiday at Nelli lodge.

Nothing too much trouble for our hosts Elizabeth and Neil.

We loved the property and would go back in the future as it was exactly what we wanted from the break.

We have come home completely relaxed and re-energised. We will be recommending this property to our friends and family. One thing I would change would be the height of the bed and a firmer mattress like we have at home, but this didn't detract any experiences we had during our break.

This was our 2nd holiday at Nelli Lodge and we will be definitely be going back for a 3rd

The piece and quiet was sublime. The lodge was great, spotlessly clean and the views, wow. Elizabeth and Neil are the perfect hosts, we shall be back.

This was our second stay at Nelli Lodge.

The first stay was in February when the weather was cold and crisp and the second in a very hot September! We were so pleased to experience both, as the fire was perfect for feb and the garden was lovely in the sunshine. The hot tub was useable in both conditions. You have everything you need here, the hosts are very welcoming and easily contactable should you need anything but otherwise let you get on with your stay and you don’t see them. There was lovely little finishing touches like fresh scones, jam and cream. A toy and playmat was even provided for our little one, as well as high chair and cot. They have an egg shed next to their house with fresh chicken eggs available. The lodge is a short walk into the village which is really sweet and a small community. All the cottages look lovely and the village is really nicely looked after. We paid a trip to the ring of bells pub which only took us 25mins to walk to. This is one of the recommended pubs, we didn’t know what to expect but it was nice and cosy, a traditional style pub but if you are looking for proper pub grub this would not be the place, the food here is restaurant standard and more gourmet than your typical pie and mash. The half moon inn has a really nice beer garden which we recommend you check out if the weather is nice! And the fisherman’s cot pub is more of your typical pub grub food and is located on a stream which is really cool to sit by the window and enjoy watching the water flow by. All in all, this staycation is 10/10!

Lovely scones and cream on arrival. The location and setting were exactly what we were expecting and provided a secluded and tranquil time away. The hosts recommended the ring of bells pub for dinner. A 30 min walk and this was amazing for food too.

Outstanding!

A great little hideaway, on arrival, after a hectic journey, greeted with a big friendly smile from Neil, who showed us around, and how to use the hot tub (Bonus). Freshly made scones with cream and jam awaited us. Great for our dog, as fenced off so no night time visits to the chickens. One issue we had, we have an electric car, its not the best place to take one of them, we had to drive 8-10 miles to get to a charge point, not able to charge at lodge. Not to much of a hassle, but just a heads up for other guests. We are planning a return already. Thanks guys.

What a property!

Our hosts were so kind and welcoming in introducing us to Nelli Lodge. The pictures don't do the lodge justice. We only managed to spend a long weekend here but both of us fell in love immediately and we're already planning our return visit. Its peaceful, beautiful and has everything you could ever need. Surrounding area is stunning. Memories to last a lifetime. Thank you!

What was described in the advert was right.

This lodge was set in a very beautiful area. views were amazing and was peaceful and relaxing. owners were very helpful and polite. we would love to come back one year and we will be fully recommending this lodger friends and family.

What better way to start the day than waking to idyllic countryside views and a rainbow on the horizon.

Followed by delicious jam and clotted cream Devonshire scones for an afternoon treat and a dip in the hot tub. Nelli Lodge is the perfect get away in a peaceful spot and the hosts are incredibly accommodating.

Absolutely fantastic stay.

The property was clean comfortable and secure. The views were simply stunning overall a 10 out of 10 holiday.

This was our first UK break away and I can honestly say it was amazing .

Perfect place for your beloved pet. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left ,we had a blast . The views are breathtaking. On a clear night the stars are out of this world. Great location. Lovley hosts who couldn't have been anymore accommodating. Thank you guys. We shall see you again.

! Hot tub was super and we felt very welcomed on arrival. Would highly recommend! Thank you! We maximised our stay in Devon with lots to see and do. The only disappointment was that despite being surrounded by beautiful fields/views there was no immediate access for dog walking. We have an 11 and a half year old chocolate Labrador and the lanes by the property are very narrow and hilly with quite a few vehicles (not always slow!) and so not ideal for him. Practical additions - a shelf in the shower would be useful as well as a clock on the wall would be helpful too

Absolutely stunning views and the lodge was just as discribed.

Pictures are correct and it was soooo cosy bliss, everything you could wish for including clotted cream scones on arrival. The owners were very helpful nothing was too much trouble especially when we got lost! Didn’t want to leave very rural 4 days wasnt long enough

Nelli Lodge is a hidden treasure.

It’s the perfect location for exploring so many wonderful places. The lodge has been very well thought out and every little detail thought about…we even had scones to welcome us on arrival! The views are just incredible.. a real treat to wake up to and come back to each day. This really is a perfect little holiday haven and a credit to the lovely owners. We had a wonderful time and will not hesitate to book again.

Neil and Elizabeth were the perfect hosts, when arriving they recommended local places to eat supermarkets etc,.

They let us know they were on hand if we needed anything which was lovely other then that they left us to enjoy our stay :) We absolutely loved our stay here at Nelli lodge. We have stayed in a couple of lodges and this is easily the best one we have stayed in, in terms of how spacious it is for a lodge, the facilities and the high standard the lodge has been done. The place was immaculate has amazing views with allocated parking at the side of the lodge. The garden is secure for doggies too. The local pub does amazing food. The hot tub is perfect for soaking in after a day of exploring the beautiful spots of Devon. Would highly recommend would definitely return. Eoin Jade &Gigi

Very clean and modern, great to be welcomed in person and spoken through the heating, hot tub, wood burner etc.

We appreciated the small touches too- hot tub ready for us as soon as we got there, lovely scones, nespresso coffees. Amazing view to wake up to, a very relaxing break away!

Was an absolutely beautiful place, very well maintained and beautiful views and also the politeness of the owners was amazing.

Great place to stay, only recommendations from me to improve would be 1.

to have a shelf on the wall inside the shower to place your toiletries etc ( had to put them on the floor) 2. A cupboard next to the sink, to put your toilet/ make up bags on ( again had to place on the floor) 3. Drawers in the bedroom so you can place your case on top of them ( instead of on the floor) only minor details . Would definitely stay again thankyou

Absolutely amazing property.

Very peaceful and quiet, and the property has been done to a really high standard. Very well equipped. Lots of lovely nice touches like having the hot tub ready for use when we arrived, and a scone, jam and cream waiting for us. Location is a great base for getting around this part of Devon, but is delightfully secluded and quiet at the same time. The lodge is comfy and lovely and warm. Fantastic views. Nothing negative to say at all

Beautiful location, ideal if you seeking a bit of privacy but owners close by if any queries. The lodge is really warm and cosy with everything you need for catering in if you desire. Garden enclosed so safe for dogs. Easy access to lots of various attractions. We would definitely return.

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Nelli Lodge!

! Upon arrival we were greeted by Elizabeth and Neil, (2 of the nicest people you could ever meet) and the hot tub was ready for us to jump straight in. The Lodge itself is just gorgeous!! Very clean and it smelt amazing. We wanted for nothing, Elizabeth and Neil have thought of everything. And being dog friendly is a massive bonus. The views are just breathtaking and it's very quiet and peaceful there. The pictures do it no justice at all. It is absolutely stunning. We highly recommend Nelli Lodge 100% to everyone. We are definitely going back next year and cannot wait!! Thank you both so much for your hospitality, see you next year.
