Description

Portesham 1.3 miles.

The Hideaway is a delightful lodge set in a scenic countryside position on the outskirts of Portesham, Dorset.

Nestled on a working farm, its nearest neighbours are grazing Friesian and Guernsey cows, adding to the rural charm.

This inviting retreat features a light-filled open-plan living space, three well-presented bedrooms, and a private decking with garden area showcasing far-reaching countryside views, all within easy reach of the popular seaside town of Weymouth, making it an excellent choice for families or friends looking to discover Dorset.

Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming living area where you can settle onto the sofa and enjoy your favourite shows on the Smart TV, while the kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals with ease.

Gather around the dining table to celebrate mealtimes together, or step out onto the decking to savour food in the fresh air, with the option of making use of the barbecue as you take in the surrounding views.

As day turns to night, freshen up in the shower room before retiring to one of the three double bedrooms, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to four guests.

A short journey takes you into Portesham, where you can pick up essentials from the local farm shop or enjoy a meal at The Kings Arms.

The stunning West Dorset Heritage Coast is within easy reach, including Chesil Beach with its sweeping shoreline and sea views.

Nearby Weymouth offers plenty to see and do, from Lodmoor Country Park and SEA LIFE Centre to Nothe Gardens and Nothe Fort, alongside the sandy stretch of Weymouth Beach.

The Hideaway is perfectly placed for exploring the Jurassic Coast and the wider Dorset area.

It was absolutely amazing, perfect as a base for 4 days of sea fishing.

The hosts were brilliant so friendly. I would certainly look forward go back there next year. Thank you for a great time. Alan
