Granny's Teeth

Due to a slight lean of the chalet you tended to roll towards the edge of the bed, never fell out but a funny feeling !

! Shower a bit small for a 6 foot six 16 stone adult, but fun !! Other than that a lovely chalet to spend a holiday in.

A lovely property in an ideal location.

Granny's Teeth had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Lyme Regis.

We came to stay at Granny's Teeth for a last-minute bank holiday getaway and honestly loved every minute of it!

It was so lovely and cosy, and had everything we needed for the two of us! The kitchen was well equipped with oven, hob and microwave and a good amount of cooking utensils. We loved the little cleaning pack that was left which we thought was also really handy! The main bedroom is a good size with a really comfy bed and lots of storage for clothes. There was only two of us so we were also able to use the spare bedroom which was handy. Just a couple of notes, the sofa is on the harder side but think this doubles up as a sofa bed which is probably why, but not an issue. Parking right outside the property is an absolute bonus, especially in the heart of Lyme. Just be aware we had a few cars parked at the bottom of the hill, so be careful when driving down and out, it can get a bit tight. What really sold it to us is the location of the property. Less than 5 minutes to the beach. We absolute loved taking our paddleboards down there of a morning, and a really short walk back from the Cobb in the evening. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be booking again!

What a loverly holiday home.

Close to all amenities and the cob. It had all we needed for a week away the home had everything you neaded with added bonus or a smart tv with Netflix just incase you have bad weather. A little court yard at the back with shed and washing machine was so handy. For what we paid i was extremely satisfied and would come and stay here again.

Home from home .

Well stocked...Extras including games,dvds & books. Well position for view of the sea/ harbour. Close to all amenities in Lyme bay sea front .

Lovely accommodation.

Small but very comfortable and full of character. Excellent location within a short walk to all amenities including lots of very good places to eat and drink. Parking was available beside the chalet but was very tight. Collection and return of keys was well organised and everything was explained clearly before arrival.

Excellent accommodation & in such a good position for the beach / pubs etc .

& super view of the sea . Would certainly stay there again .

Perfect for our stay.

Distance to the beach was great. I loved having my breakfast looking out at the sea. My children loved playing some of the games in the cupboard. It may have just been me, but I couldn't get the oven to work. This wasn't a problem though. We would definitely visit again.

The property was clean and tidy.

Everything was there that we needed for our stay. The outside space was excellent. The property was small but adequate for us. Easy access to the beach,shops and pubs. Plenty of places to eat. On the negative side,the sofa bed in the lounge was very uncomfortable to sit on. The other thing was opening and closing the door ,when using the key. We had a love / hate relationship. Otherwise we enjoyed our holiday

Location was excellent, Cleanliness of bedding, towels was good, what let it down was general grubbiness (pull cords, control knobs and shower (mould)), the sofa could do with a steam clean.

In general the place looked tired and needs a bit of TLC. As for comfort the sofa (bed) is one of the most uncomfortable things We have ever sat on, as for the stools ok if your 12 years old, in the end we had to use the patio chairs. The other niggle was shall we say the compactness with cabinets placed so that you back you head if not careful and the having to crawl lengthways into bed (not a major issue but it all adds up)

The property was exactly as described.

We had everything we needed. Everything worked apart from a wall light in the lounge. The ceiling light wasn't enough to reach the area that the wall light should have covered. The wall light needs a bulb. There was a very minor water leak by the wc. Clean water and very minimal. My husband is allergic to pets and his allergy was triggered by something in the chalet. Possibly someone had recently taken a dog in there. An outside light would have been helpful. The mattresses on the bunk beds were uncomfortable. Especially the one on the lower bunk. It has springs and they were squeaky and uncomfortable to sleep on. Despite these minor inconveniences we enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely little chalet, ideal for 2 adults, it was very clean and was supplied with all we needed.

The toilet was on the small side but adequate. Nice shower, you just need to adjust the shower head to an angle which prevents water escaping onto the floor. Sofa was on the firm side but the bed was most comfortable we have had in a holiday home. We spent all day out and about as the weather was superb. An extremely quiet location but so close to the centre of town and a bonus of being able to park right outside. We definitely would like to stay here again next year.

Parking was fine, but could be an issue, with some people, parking inconveniently outside your property, each space should be numbered.

We enjoyed our stay in Granny's Teeth, we loved how close it is to Monmouth and Front beach - a 5 minute walk (if that).

Because we had such amazing weather we didn't need to make use of the huge selection of games and books but there are plenty to choose from. Parking is a little nerve-wracking but we were able to park right outside the property. Neighbours are friendly and the evenings were very peaceful.

Very little to fault about the property, cleanliness was first rate, bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped and as a bonus a washing machine, saving us bringing home two weeks of dirty laundry.

The view from the terrace was beautiful, looking towards the sea at sunset, whilst enjoying a cool drink. Only thing I could fault and it's probably minor, is that the sofa was a bit hard, maybe it needs new foam in the cushions.

The property is very well located, very convenient for a family of 4 with kids, quick access to the water front.

Overall the property is ok, however the first impression when we opened the door was the closed up smell, I opened the windows for a while to try to ventilate a bit and also the top bed bunk bar is loose.

You won’t get bitten if you stay at Granny’s Teeth!

It’s a perfect chalet and located in a perfect spot. The view is superb. Clean accommodation with everything you might need available. Lots of books and games to read or play, if you have time and energy after spending all day on the beach and in the sea! I would happily stay here again.

Loved it but the loft ladder is an obstruction that could easily be resolved.

Cupbord next to toilet sink makes it hard to use the sink. Location perfect and quiet. We were sad to leave.

This was our first family holiday and it didn't disappoint!

It is compact, functional, in a great location, and has lots of lovely extras (like the local art, decor and games in the cupboard). We hope to come again. Also, as an afterthought - the sofa bed is really comfortable!

Perfect holiday home for a few days at the beach. My kids (4&6) loved it. We will be back! Next time for longer & with the whole family. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay over the Bew Year, we had everything we needed in the chalet.

It was warm & cosy. We enjoyed watching - those that were brave enough to do it - jump into the sea for the New Year's Day Swim!!! Love the location, enjoyed searching for fossils, drinking in the local pubs, eating fish & chips, everything we needed on the doorstep. Didn't need the car - Brilliant!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Granny's teeth.

Accomdation was very comfortable and we loved the nautical theme throughout. We had amazing weather all week which made the stay even more enjoyable. We will look forward to coming back next year. We love Lyme Regis , this is our third year.

comfortable and quiet, still not far away from the pubs, shops and ice cream. Breakfast around the corner and the sea almost at our feet, perfect wither for walking and swimming. We loved every second of our stay!
