Lovely Welcome pack .

Very comfortable accommodation with a nice garden- it was great having parking. Easy walk to beach- would recommend riverside walk to Lyme or inland to Uplyme. We were there during the heatwave so cotton covers for the sofas would have been great! Maybe some TLC required in the garden. Would definitely visit again

The property was perfect for our stay.

The house is very comfortable with the furnishings. The kitchen is very well equipment with all what is generally required. The street is very quiet and great for a relaxing break.

This is a lovely house however the pervasive smell of damp was the first thing we noticed .

This is not improved by numerous plug in air fresheners dotted about the place . We thought maybe it was related to the washing machine ? But it needs sorting Garden fab, location fab , very well equipped house . And two loo rolls for six people ? Come on an odd way to make savings

Beautiful cottage in Lyme Regis.

It is a steep walk to the village but manageable. Very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Small issue with internet connection a few times but it did sort itself out in the end. Nice touch having a welcome pack with milk,tea,biscuits etc.Fantastic shower with great pressure!!Would recommend 100%

Its our fifth visit to highpoint lodge.

.. We love it.. it just keeps getting better... Love the new sofas... Very comfortable. The property is still immaculate... Lyme Regis is our happy place... The weather was a bit stormy but we managed to avoid the rain... We look forward to booking again.. thank you.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay.

The accommodation is beautifully decorated. There were even Christmas decos up to make our stay more festive. We would book here again.

Pretty dorma bungalow well equipped & comfortable & excellent location 10 minute walk into Lyme Regis, but up a very steep hill so may not be suitable for everyone!

Whilst the property does sleep 6 we found the open plan living area/ kitchen diner a bit too cosy for 6 adults with only 2 small sofas. In the summer the garden / decking area would be lovely to use but as we were there in Autumn we didn’t make use of it. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our short stay, the Lodge was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and had a homely feel, the 2 sofas looked new and very comfortable.

(ideal for the time of year, October). There facilities and equipment were more than adequate for us. Great to have a cleaning pack and tea towels provided. We were very unhappy with our first nights stay as we needed to have the heating on. The Guest handbook wasn't updated with the current system , as there were out of date instructions for the heating ( it appeared that a new system had been installed and guests not given the latest instruction) this resulted in us being cold during the night and we were concerned as we had a 90 year old lady with us. It was necessary to contact the booking office the following morning to ask for maintenance to attend to the heating. This was however done very quickly and we were given verbal instruction how to use this. There seems to be a HIVE App in operation for this. The other disappointment was the hot water for the shower, it kept going hot and cold even with the shortest of showers. With the exception of the issues we encountered this is one of the bed self catering accommodations I have stayed in. I would suggest this would be even better by providing a non slip mat and a grab rail in the shower enabling it to be even more accessible for all. Due to the time of year we didn't use the outdoor space but it looked fantastic for a summer stay. I would also suggest there should be dishwash salt and rinse aid available for topping up as required. Had we not had the mentioned issues then my score would definitely be 5 all round.

We had a lovely holiday at Highpoint Lodge.

Perfect location, 10 minute walk to the beach & town. Beautiful property, everything catered for with a fab view of the sea from the main bedroom. Definitely recommend.

Requires more comfortable furniture.

Fence panel behind summer house loose one end detached flapping in wind small dog could escape. Shower hot then cold but hot tap in sink not affected in the same way. No parasol at table on patio.

Property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

It was further away from the town centre than I’d hoped, but still well within walking distance - it’s about 10mins down the hill to the town centre. It was great for our dogs with a secure garden. There isn’t really a sea view, as unfortunately the shrubs next door have grown tall and pretty much obscure it, but I imagine this is out of the owners control. All in all we had a very good and comfortable week in pretty Lyme Regis. Ps the hoover definitely needs replacing.

A very welcoming & convenient house.

A 10 minute walk to the sea front which is great. Very clean & tidy, lovely views of the sea & countryside. Had a few issues with the hot water, would be good to have another TV in the main bedroom but apart from that, would stay again.

Forth visit to Highpoint, the property remains outstanding.

Great location and being only a 10 walk down the hill the Lyme Regis.

We really enjoyed our stay at Highpoint Lodge, this is our 3 visit in 4 years.

We were so lucky to find this gem of a place, The house itself is so nice and the area is beautiful . We love our visits to Lyme Regis .

We found the accommodation really comfortable, clean and tidy. Very well appointed and close to everything that we love about Lyme Regis We had an issue with the heating which was resolved within half an hour of contacted Lyme Bay Holidays and we will be booking again!!

Lovely place, well appointed.

Well designed rear garden. It’s our second time and we were not disappointed. Next time we will have to find a way back which mitigates climbing Mount Blanc… aka the beach walk back ;-)

Beautiful house - only downside for us was double bed mattress too soft and was too hot with heavy winter tog duvets - summer ones would have been perfect

As always Highpoint lodge is a wonderful holiday spot.

So stylish and well appointed There were only 2 niggles we had. One was we had to wash the lichen off the little garden gazebo before we could sit there. The second was the vacuum is way too heavy to use.

Fabulous property , comfortable and well equipped.

The garden is perfect for furry friends and the lighting is fab. The beds were very comfortable . Would highly recommend.

We have been staying at this property many times over the last few years and we feel that is not as good as usual.

We had a power cut and the property management company were very unhelpful and uncaring. I understand they cannot fix a national grid problem but they were unable to offer any support at all and appeared not to care. Also the pillows are inadequate, the airer only has 3 legs, the hoover is useless too. The hot water does not work all the time. There are a lack of roasting trays for cooking.

Perfect little bungalow, very well appointed and decorated to a high standard.

Great shower, more than enough of everything. Very minor request for a set of metal BBQ tools. Also the lighter needs filling up or a box of matches leaving.

Highpoint Lodge had everything we needed for a week away with our two dogs.

A light and welcoming space in a great location, beautifully laid out and finished to a high standard. Slept like a log every night as so peaceful. We would return if visiting Lyme Regis again.

Highpoint Lodge was a perfect weekend retreat by the Jurassic coast with my teens, mum and two little dogs.

The house was immaculate, both in presentation and cleanliness. The decor was really lovely and the beds and sitting room were all very comfortable. We would most definitely visit again!

This is a fantastic holiday home, we had a wonderful stay, and would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful property in a great location.

The only downside, which is why we have only given 4*'s is the lack of door on the 3rd, upstairs bedroom. We stayed with our 8yr old daughter and our friends so was a bit open for our liking. We would definitely stay here again, but just as a family rather than with friends.

A fantastic property with everything we needed and more.

The decor was just to our taste and much like our own home. No complaints but possibly think about a larger television at some point. Lovely secure garden for our dog.

We loved the property and had a wonderful holiday- we would definitely stay there again .

Two points though- the mattress on the bed in the front bedroom needs replacing! Several people have made the same comment in the visitors book- that’s why I couldn’t give full marks for comfort. Also the boiler was leaking- we only discovered this on our last day snd had wondered why the radiators were not very hot.

This is our second holiday to Highpoint Lodge , we had another lovely stay in this beautiful lodge , my son and his partner joined us this year as it was my husbands 60th birthday while we were there, it was very special and we made lots of memories, it was perfect all being together in such a beautiful location .

A perfect stay!

Lovely welcome pack and everything we needed was available. The house is beautifully decorated and tastefully equipped. The garden is a delight too. The twin bedroom is also lovely, not sure why there are no photos provided. Two bedrooms with sea views. Would definitely book to stay here again.

Property has been done to a high standard.

Clean and fresh. Large bedrooms. Lovely garden. Good facilities in the property, dishwasher, washing machine etc. Lovely welcome pack on arrival.

The property was as advertised and very well presented.

We had a problem with the boiler not working and no hot water, after I called a plumber was with us in less than 15 minutes, so excellent. Our only criticism is that the 4pm check in and 10am check out is untenable. I would not book with you again by choice for that reason. You end up paying London hotel prices for a stay which is shortened by a very unhelpful margin, especially on the check out. 10am is just too early.

It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

When we needed bin bags they were supplied very quickly Everything was in good condition
