St Anton
Description
Enjoying a wonderful setting close to the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis in the heart of Dorset, is this memorable holiday chalet, St Anton.
The perfect location for a family holiday, St Anton boasts simply spectacular sea views and thanks to its location within walking distance of the beach, offers a truly stunning setting.
Inside, it might be small but St Anton still delivers big with a bright and airy open-plan living area creating a real feeling of light and space.
The sitting area overlooks the outside decking area and offers breath-taking views of the sea so whether the sun is shining or not you have the ideal spot for chilling out and soaking up those gorgeous views.
The kitchen has everything the designated chef needs to create hearty fayre for your holiday party and you can either pull up a chair at the elegant dining table or if the weather allows, then you can eat alfresco and absorb the last of the day’s sun and more of those mesmerising views.
You can imagine relaxing on the outside decking area with a glass of your favourite tipple, watching the sun go down and really getting into the seaside holiday vibe.
When bedtime calls, take your pick from the double or twin bedrooms; both are equally well-presented and provide a relaxing sanctuary to wake up to in the morning.
St Anton enjoys a superb location within walking distance of thriving Lyme Regis which has a fantastic beach, harbour and causeway as well as a great selection of shops, cafes, boutiques and restaurants and a museum and aquarium.
Nearby are the towns of Uplyme, Branscombe, Dalwood and Bridport, which are all worth a visit as are beaches at Seatown, Charmouth and West Bay.
Attractions for the whole family to enjoy in the area include Seaton tramway, the Jurassic Fun Centre, Pecorama, Beer Quarry Caves and Tunnel Tree Tops.
Small but perfectly formed, St Anton offers a wonderful holiday base.

What guests are saying
We first stayed here in 2019 and love the chalet and its location hence our 6th stay.
I was pleased that it was cleaner than I have known it in the past and generally well equipped although only having 4 big plates was not ideal. However, overall it is becoming rather tired. The bathroom is very shabby and now urgently needs an upgrade. The shower door is so corroded at the base it’s very difficult to open and close. One of our teens got stuck in it. The single beds creak loudly and the bed frames really need replacing. The sofa has throws over it but is grubby and uncomfortable. As I have not seen any sign of the owners wanting to invest in their property over the last 7 years, sadly I feel this will be our last stay.
Getting the fob (which opens the gateway to the property) from the house and then having to go back to the gate was an absolute pain.
Firstly finding the correct property in amongst all the others was tricky, a site map would've been helpful, then getting the key and fob from the key safe, walking back, was fine for someone able bodied but I imagine very tricky if youre not able or elderly. It was uphill all the way and a fair distance from where you leave your car at the gate. There is only a small space for the car, which it doesn't say in the advert, so if you have a big car like us, we were only informed of this after we had paid in full and had a confirmation email. The search engine came up with this property when I searched for enclosed gardens or yards. This literally only had a veranda, a small piece of decking, which was enclosed but not really suitable for 2 dogs. Lastly, please dont fill up all the cupboard space, we need somewhere to put food! Other than these things we had a wonderful time here, it was lovely and comfortable and homely and stunning views.
Everything was really nice and exactly as expected.
The host left some lovely little presents for us, which was a very thoughtful touch. The location was perfect — just about two minutes from the city centre — and parking was very convenient. Overall, everything was really good and we had a great stay.
