What guests are saying
A beautiful peaceful location.
I stayed in the shepherds hut with my dog for 3 nights and would loved to have stayed for longer.
We loved our stay at acres meadow.
A slice of heaven. Perfect for families and our dog loved it too. Can't wait to come back
Property was clean and tidy, well maintained.
Very happy with property and the holiday in general. No issues at all and would certainly book again. Great for our dog and daughter who loves the stay. One issue we have is to do with Sykes Cottages and not the owner at all. We’ve left behind a £200 set of hair straighteners in the bathroom area. Continually trying to contact Sykescottages to organise the owners to have a look for us and I can liaise with them to get it back to us. However Sykes has been a nightmare. Been given the runaround on Facebook messenger, WhatsApp the lot. The number I have on the app for the ”owners” isn’t the owners but dream cottages who are part of Sykes cottages. So just round in circles we go. I would highly recommend Acres Meadow but I would not recommend Sykes Cottages and I wouldn’t holiday with them again if I’m honest. Hopefully by completing this form Sykes get their finger out and contact owner on my behalf and ask if they can have a look for these hair straighteners we left behind.
