We had a great stay at Oak Lodge.
It was lovely and clean and spacious for the two of us but would equally suit four people. The views from the lodge are fantastic! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would have loved to have done the river walk but it was too hot during our stay and with a dodgy hip it unfortunately was not possible for me. Lymes Regis is lovely. Beautiful sandy beach, lots of pubs, cafes etc. Charmouth and Seaton beaches were good too and less crowded. Would love to come back and many apologies for forgetting to empty the dishwasher before we left!!!
Lovely accommodation with beautiful views.
Well equipped & lots of thought gone into what sort of bits you might need in the kitchen. We did have trouble with the oven as it seemed to cook everything very quickly, but this may of been user error! Owners were very friendly and there if you needed them, but also gave you your own space. Wonderful location, a beautiful easy walk along the river into Lyme Regis & the local tearooms is also only a short walk away and does delicious food. The only thing I can think of that would improve it, is if there was a small welcome package when your arrived, bread, milk etc. I would happily stay here again.
