Eden Lodge

Another fanrastic week at Eden lodge.

Very clean, comfy, homely and can't wait to return.

We had a lovely relaxed stay, nice quite site, Nice clean comfortable Lodge, and a very welcoming space after a long drive.

Lovely accommodation and everything you needed was there, even down to an air fryer which was great.

Eden Vale lodge was exceptionally clean, comfortable and everything you could possibly need for a quiet relaxing holiday.

The owners made us feel very welcome and even left a lively welcome pack for us which we really appreciated. There was also treats, toys and more for our dog. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was really powerful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials and more. If I was being very picky then maybe a non slip mat in the shower could be added. The site itself is quiet and well kept but maybe a pub/restaurant could be an asset. We had a lovely time at Eden Vale Lodge and would 100% recommend. Thankyou for a very pleasant holiday.

Had a lovely stay (despite the weather).

Lodge is spacious, comfy and cosy. It is situated in a nice quiet spot but is a great central location for exploring the region. St Ninians Cave and Garlieston were great for dog walks. Rainy days were not so bad with a wood fire while relaxing on the recliner couch. I would definitely stay again.

Eden lodge was fantastic, absolutely perfect.

Everything there anyone needed and a lovely welcome gift box left by Alec and Pete. Beyond dog friendly with treats even left for them. Trimmed up for Christmas and New year, home from home and we will definitely be going back.

We were extremely lucky with the weather for the time of year and were able to enjoy the beautiful costal walks.Very cold and frosty at night but the lodge was cosy with heating and log burner and had everything that we needed. I have been to many cottages all over the UK and this is one of the best .

Alec and Pete made us feel welcome everything you could ask for all basics on hand would definitely recommend.

The lodge was fine.

We were there in November when the weather had became cold and had to light the log burner . It was difficult to get going. The only way it would burn was to leave the door open which filled the room with smoke . If the door was shut it went out .

Very well equipped lodge , good location all modern facilities needed were provided ie large smart TV with Netflix .

Lodge had a light airy feel to it . Log burner very easy to use with good instructions etc . Plenty of outdoor decking etc with some undercover to sit out even if raining . We would recommend this lodge and this area of Scotland which is stunning .

We had a fabulous time at Eden lodge.

Very comfortable. Comfy beds, better central heating than I have in my house! Loads of games to play, Netflix, a bottle and Scottish biscuits to greet you. There’s dog bowls, poo bags and a dog towel if you’re bringing a pup. There’s loads of wee villages and towns nearby but tbh we spent most of our time chilling at the lodge so I don’t have much info on them. All in all a great place to put up the feet and spend a few relaxing days.

Our second stay at this lodge and it didnt disappoint.

This is an exceptional property.

Very well appointed, we wanted for nothing. Site is tranquil and has a large walking area for the dogs. Pets are very well catered for too. Very thoughtful items for dogs and owners alike with snacks and drying towels. Communication from and to the owners was very timely, useful and informative. Would I make a return visit? 100% yes.

Superb lodge home from home ,sofas and beds so comfy ,fully equipped kitchen ,lovely decking to sit out side, enclosed for dogs .

little extras treats for dogs ,shortbread and prosecco for adults ,even a picnic bag if required will definitely stay here again 10/10 perfect

Fantastic lodge.

LOADS of space for 2 adults and 2 pooches, all the amenities you'd hope for. Really couldn't have wished for anything better. Lots of goodies for the adults, lots of goodies for the pooches. Great location to explore D&G. A definite 5/5, thanks a lot.

Eden Lodge is a lovely, well equipped lodge on a quiet site.

The enclosed decking was great for our dogs.

Lovely comfortable Lodge, attention to detail amazing , more than everything you need to have a happy relaxing stay .

Everything was as described and hoped for with the lodge.

Owners made every effort for visitors.

Already from the pictures on the app we knew what to expect, but the Lodge was absolutely above our expectations.

Was spacious , beautifully decorated ( bits added due to christmas ) we found everything we needed . Fire place was amazing, great comfortable bed. Massive bath , with great water pressure which can be problematic sometime we travel quite a lot. The caravan park was nice in quite rural location and all the neighbours was quite as well that's what we like. We had really amazing Chrismtas and it's plenty to see and do around. Hoping to come back in warmer months. Thank you very much.

This is a lovely place for a vacation.

The property is extremely comfortable with everything you could want to help you enjoy your stay. Beautiful area with plenty of walks and places of interest on your doorstep. The dogs loved it too!

We were impressed by the owners eye for detail, both the decor and well equipped kitchen. Two outdoor seating areas added to our comfort. The site is peaceful and well maintained and a short drive from local amenities. I would recommend Eden Lodge.

2nd stay at Eden Lodge this year, cant fault it ,spot less and comfortable,spacious (2 adults and 3 dogs),with everything you need Looking forward to returning in September.

We had a fabulous time at the aptly named Eden Lodge which really is a little piece of heaven.

Everything you need is here and it is spotlessly clean. The furnishings are not just stylish but also really comfortable. We slept really well here. The lodge is warm and the log burner makes it feel really cosy. The shower pressure was excellent. There were even some lovely welcome gifts left which was really thoughtful. Parking is directly outside and the decking areas are a lovely place to sit and relax whilst listening to the sound of birdsong. It was so peaceful and our dogs were really happy here. On top of that the owners are genuinely nice people and it is obvious that they really care about their guests. What more can you ask for? We enjoyed it so much we have already booked again for July

Had a great stay at Eden Lodge and it is extremely well equipped with everything you need and more.

Bottle of wine and biscuits upon welcome was a nice little touch. Beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to get up one morning. Shower excellent and again didn’t want to get out. Dogs loved it here, again everything they needed was catered for including leads, towels, treats, bags and a new ball. I would recommend Eden Lodge to any potential future guests and will come back in the future. Thank you for helping to make our staycation fantastic. X

Lovely cabin with everything you need for a holiday stay!

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The wood burner looked like it would lovely in vold winter months. We had mild but very VERY wet weather so was grateful of the central heating to dry endlessly soggy clothes! A very kind welcome gift of wine and shortbread was a treat too - thank you!

We loved our stay here.

The lodge is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. The addition of board games and the wood burning stove made for a lovely cosy relaxed weekend away.

Just back from a relaxing week,weather so so but the accommodation made up for it.

Cant speak too highly of the lodge,owners have thought of everything.Loved it so much we have booked to return in September.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay .

The owners had thought of everything our dog loved the ball and we loved the bottle of wine and shortbread. Its in a good location to explore the whithorn area and the Galloway Forest. Excellent

What an amazing hidden gem, perfect in every way.

The owners have thought of everything it’s home from Home. You will not be disappointed. Lovely touch of the wine and dog treats and balls on arrival. The log burner is a bonus, missing it now we home.

This holiday property has everything you need and more when you go away from home.

It was absolutely 100% spotless. I would also like to thank Alex for the bottle of prosseco on arrival. In the kitchen there is every utensil and crockery you could mention and more. Even our two pet dogs have asked if they could go back again!! We certainly will highly recommend and great value for our money.10/10.

The accommodation is well thought of from all the stuff in the kitchen to the accommodation. The fire log was wonderful providing a very cosy atmosphere at night. The location of the lodge was perfect as places we wanted to visit were not too far away! This place is ideal for a quiet get away. Shame we forgot to sign the guestbook!
