    “Galloway itself is absolutely delightful, forests, coastlines, tiny ports, distilleries, beautiful gardens, dark sky centres, lovely coffee shop visitor centres.”

    So choosing this accommodation gave us a central (isolated) location to explore in many directions. It is a very large activity park but with lots of space, no caravans hemming us in. Immaculate, very spacious, large skies and extensive views. We extended our stay as we just felt so comfortable and relaxed (retired couple). Driving requires some confidence as it is remote. Stopped in Dumfries for plenty of provisions. Excellent WiFi

A stunning, historical village in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. It offers all of your amenities including 2 hotels with bars, a bistro and a village shop, making it the perfect base for exploring this great region of Scotland. Glenluce is also home to the large Lady Stair Park with football goals as well as Glenluce Skate Part to keep the children busy. The Water of Luce separates the village from the 16th century Landmark Trust owned Castle of Park, now open to the public. Further north is the incredible Glenluce Abbey, 17th century ruins well worth a look. Glenluce is also home to the Wigtownshire County Golf Course. The town of Stranraer is just a short drive away with a range of amenities as well as a museum, memorial tower and a train station allowing you to explore even more of Scotland.
