Wonderful stay at Salthaven in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

The hut is modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Mandy and Steve were excellent hosts - easy to communicate with and even provided scones on arrival

An amazing place,just what we needed a weekend in a quite relaxing retreat,the Shepards Hut was done to a very high standard.

Peaceful, tranquil & relaxing. Riverside Haven. Great location to beach, town, Battle of Hastings and Pevensey Castle to name just a couple. Host was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Information book was very useful. Cleanliness 100%. Thoroughly recommend.

The Shepherds hut was immaculate and very well equipped, in a lovely tucked away setting.

We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the river and eating alfresco as the weather was gorgeous every day. There's plenty of places to visit in the area and we enjoyed nearby Eastbourne. We would certainly consider returning one day.

We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful shepherds hut furnished with great care and thought it contained everything we could possibly need superb location lovely and peaceful yet 5 minutes from the gorgeous beach.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming with freshly baked scones on arrival and the swimming pool was a fantastic surprise all in all this place surpassed our expectations and we will definitely be back for longer next time

Salthaven Shepherds Hut is a great little place to spend a few days in.

Built with no expense spared to the highest specification. Set at the bottom of the host's garden with views down the 'stream', where one can watch the feathered wildlife, including kingfishers. The village of Pevensey Bay is a short ten-minute walk, where there are shops and a fine selection of eateries. We will definitely go there again.

Absolutely fabulous property.

I was looking for a cosy little retreat away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the outside world and this was simply perfect. Set at the bottom of its own private and secluded garden and next to the river with its abundance of wildlife it had everything I needed for me and my little dog. Highly recommend - and will definitely return!

If I could give Salthaven Shepherds Hut more thsn 5 stars, I would.

The location is idyllic- next to a river and a few minutes walk to the sea front. The hut is packed with everything you need and more. It is extremely clean and comfortable. The outside space is lovely to sit and relax. The owners are welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

I had such a lovely restful stay at the cabin, tucked away by the river.

Heard a cuckoo, and saw a kingfisher - both "firsts" for me!. The cabin is so comfortable and well-designed, has everything you need, and has the lovely garden to sit out in and just enjoy the setting. Definitely recommended.

What’s fantastic place the hosts have created.

Everything you needed and more in the shepherds hut. Large private garden with own access by the river. Even a parking space, off road, on the driveway (which was not stated in the description). Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back and have already recommended you! Loved the scones and milk left too - was a lovely welcome x
