October House Holiday Cabin is a beautifully-presented and secluded, single-storey holiday home set in its own large private, dog-proof, garden within the lovely grounds of October House, the home of the owners.
Tucked away quietly on the edge of the pretty village of Damerham within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within touching distance of the New Forest National Park, this property is ideal for a small family or couple wanting to explore the stunning countryside, the South Coast and historic Salisbury and Stone Henge.
Enter this welcoming rural retreat and discover an open-plan living area with a fully-equipped kitchen that makes great use of space, you will find all of the appliances you'll need to create delicious home-cooked meals, to be enjoyed at the dining table.
In the evenings, relax on the sofas in the lounge as you enjoy a movie night or a good book from the bookcase, while the ‘wood burning’ electric fire warms the room and adds a snug ambiance.
At bedtime, there are two bedrooms you can catch up on rest in; a spacious master bedroom with a king-size and handy en-suite basin and WC, plus a bunk room that is ideal for adults or children.
Both are served by the family shower room and each room offering ample storage space and garden views.
A small utility area next to the kitchen houses a washer/dryer, should you need to wash any muddy clothes after a day filled with adventure.
Outside you can enjoy a large, enclosed, sunny garden, with an extensive lawn for children and pets to safely run around in while you sit back and relax in the sunshine.
Dog lovers have access to an extensive network of lovely footpaths right from the front door.
There is a great village pub a 15-minute country walk away, and the nearest shops, takeaways, and amenities can be found in Fordingbridge, just over three miles away.
This traditional town rests on the banks of the beautiful River Avon and is famous for its beautiful medieval Great Bridge with its seven graceful arches, a major feature that draws visitors to the town.
As well as providing a gateway to the New Forest the town offers picturesque walks, a good selection of shops, excellent pubs, restaurants, and takeaways.
You can explore the stunning surrounding countryside of the Cranborne Chase AONB straight from the front door and enjoy a varied and diverse landscape of rolling hills, ancient woodlands, chalk grassland, and river valleys.
Venture into the New Forest and discover thousands of acres of moorland, heathland, and woodland, frequented by wild ponies, donkeys, and pigs, and a variety of fascinating wildlife.
The little ones can enjoy fascinating adventure-filled days at Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World while thrill-seekers will love walking the treetops and navigating high ropes at Moors Valley Country Park & Forest.

Excellent, one of the best.
Very comfortable and well equipped. Great location, rural and peaceful, really enjoyed sitting in the garden in the warm evenings, a blissful setting. Owners and housekeepers very helpful. All Very very good with this property and would definitely recommend.
The location of this property is stunning.
The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and he absolutely loved it in the garden which was very safe and enclosed. The welcome home made treats from Alison were very tasty and well received. Just one thing we found the TV very frustrating. Everything else was great with lots of interesting walks and two deers appeared in the garden next door. All in all we had a wonderful time and didn't want to return home.
