We loved the location.

Quiet and peaceful. The lodge was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Lots of places to visit.Pub at the top of the road, lovely food. Our stay was over too quickly. Highly recommend the lodge.You will not be diaappointed.

Really enjoyed our week at Gwydn lodge.

Found it to be a real cosy 'home from home' and very well equipped. Set in an ideal lovely and quiet location and within easy reach of all the major places we wanted to visit during our stay.

Gwndyn is the perfect place to stay do not hesitate to book it you will definitely not be disappointed.

The lodge is in a prime position for visiting all the lovely scenery nearby and you have the choices of sea and the nearby forests for exploring. Plus you have Shorefield holiday park facilities to use if you wish for a small cost. Gwndyn is a super cosy retreat to come back to and so comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend this lodge and will certainly be back.

Gwydn Lodge was in the perfect position for exploring the New Forest by car or by bus ( bus stop 100 yards down the road ).

The owners were very quick to respond to the problem we had with the heating. Overall a comfortable, reasonably well equipped lodge, but we found the mattress hard and uncomfortable. Also if you like a cup of tea when you arrive be sure to take some milk as there was none provided,

The site was small, secluded, private and quiet, which we found very relaxing, and we had a most enjoyable holiday.

This is the best lodge that we have stayed in.

We found it to be fully equipped, very comfortable and on a well maintained and quiet site. Very convenient for visiting the New Forest. We enjoyed our week in the lodge and would have no problem in booking again for next year. Would also recommend The Smugglers Inn in Milfield on Sea for Sunday lunch.

The lodge was perfect.

We love the quiet location, the extras that were provided were a nice surprise too. We would definitely go back in the future.

The location of the property is excellent, however it would benefit from a deap clean.

All of the silicon sealant in the shower is covered in mould and everywhere was very dusty. In addition it would benefit from some new baking trays.

Gwydn Lodge was the perfect place to spend a holiday.

The small park where it was was quiet and peaceful, the lodge was beautiful clean and well maintained with everything you needed for your stay. It was a 20 minute walk to Milford on Sea along a picturesque coastal path and there was a bus stop at the end of the lane so you could explore as much of the area as you wanted to without using the car. We had a wonderful time and would also like to thank the owners Michael and Sheila who were probably the most kind and helpful owners we’ve ever encountered.

Most enjoyable holiday.

Weather was perfect which helped. Site was very quiet well maintained and peaceful. Every thing seemed to be catered for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with everything.

It was a lovely quiet spot and very relaxing. We will be returning.

The property was excellent however we were under the impression that it was connected to the larger site whereas we had to walk on a dangerous road to get to the larger site.

Ideally located and convenient for the New Forest, Bournemouth/Christchurch and Lymington, Gwydn Lodge was well-equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable.

Although unfortunate with the weather, hardly surprising at this time of year, it was reassuring to return to a lovely warm lodge after braving the elements. There are really good places to eat nearby and supermarkets a short drive away. All-in-all - highly recommended.

Relaxing and spacious!

We had a wonderful time at Gwydn Lodge! So much space for 4 people, very comfortable sofas and dining chairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fire place was a highlight warming up the lodge. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this ❤️

Enjoyed our stay at Gwydn lodge.

Very comfortable, spacious and peaceful. The added bonus was amazing weather for the week. The beach at Milford on Sea is so near, also walk from Friars Cliff to Mudeford. We certainly hope to return to Gwydn lodge at some point.

It was perfect!

Location, comfort, anything we may have needed was inside. The location was great for a walk to the beach and close enough to drive to supermarkets, takeaways and restaurants. You are also able to use the facilities at the Shorefield holiday park next door. Loved it and would return in an instant!

The lodge was lovely very quiet and near to beaches.

And the new forest. The only complaint I have is. Not very clear about the amenities. The pool and restaurant were next door but the fee to use it were rather pricey 171.00 for three people was rather a shock Lovely holiday though beautiful area. Very clear instructions from Sykes and customer service is excellent

Lovely holiday home in a quiet area of the park!

Quite a walk to the pool and shop on a very busy road! Better to drive! Clean and everything we needed

They have a very bad ant population they were in the carpet all over the sides and furniture but other than that quite comfortable needs some nets in main room not very private but lovely lodge

The lodge had everything required for a self-catering stay.

.. comfortable beds, numerous kitchen units and utensils and comfortable sofas, if a little too soft and low for our 80 year old backs. I can't comment on the facilities at the adjoining site as we didn't take advantage of these. Within just a short drive,or walk if you are able,of the coast and delightful pubs and restaurants... what more would you want ??

Gwydn Lodge is superb.

Clean, practical has all the equipment, like washing machine, dish washer etc., it's just like home from home, really beautiful and quiet.

The owner have amazing lodge they is very thinking you need.

Along with games, books. Also information about place to visit. I would totally recommend this place .

Our stay at Gwydn Lodge was perfect.

A lovely clean, comfortable and cosy place to stay in such a quiet and peaceful setting. The lodge was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There are lots of places to visit nearby and we found the local people to be very friendly. The owners were particularly helpful and went the extra mile in making sure our stay at their lodge was a good one. We would love a return visit when we are able.

A really lovely lodge and we were delighted to find it so comfortable, clean, warm and nicely furnished.

The owners provide virtually everything you could need for self catering and a super base for a holiday in the New Forest.

Property was as described, comfy, clean and excellent WiFi signal.

Site was quieter than the adjoining Shorefields although the path to the shop on site was blocked so had to use the country lane to access.

The weather wasn't too good, although we did have sunny spells between the rain.

So it was great to have comfortable acommodation to be able to wait out the rain storms and very strong wind on two days. My only minor problem was that various items were not supplied, as we have become acustomed to having on arrival e.g. no dish cloth or tea towel in the kitchen and no toilet cleaner in either of the bathrooms. Luckily I had a jay cloth and tea towel with me. I can only assume that most visitors use the dish washer. As we had our main meal out we had little to wash up each day and it was a waste of water and electricity to use the dish washer.

Gwydn Lodge is modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped.

If I did not know better, I would say that it is brand new. 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, TV and DVD player with films as well some board games and cards that can be played at the dinning table in the main room of the lodge, It is not on the main Shorefields Park, but just a few yards along the lane which makes it peaceful and relaxing. There is parking for one car next to the lodge. The decking is an added bonus for sitting in the evening having a nice chat or eating dinner at the table provided. The main park has a shop (rather expensive) an outdoor and indoor pool, a bar and restaurant, all of which can be busy at peak times. You are able to book the restaurant in advance if you wish or it's a first come first serve basis. My boys especially enjoyed the outdoor pool and the amusement arcade. The only downside is that to get to the main park, you have to walk along the lane which is narrow, busy and unlit at night. We got around this by mainly using the car to visit the pool and the shop. All in all a great place to stay with lots of attractions and beeches close by.

Great location, perfect for all the attractions we wanted to visit.

Spotlessly clean and lots of amenities in the lodge which made our stay easy and hassle free. Good communication with the owners. The lodge is on a separate area to the main park which was great for us as it was quieter and could still use the main park facilities when we wanted to. The decking is a fantastic sun spot for an evening wine!

We had a wonderful stay here.

The lodge was the cleanest and most well equipped we have ever stayed in. It is warm, spacious and comfortable. The area is nice, quiet and safe for the kids to go out in. The broader area is lovely and there is much to see and do. The owners were proactive and communicative (even though we had no issues). I highly recommend Gwydn Lodge and look forward to returning later.

Arrived to find a really well equipped and maintained holiday home.

Everything was spotlessly clean and facilities as described. Location is easily found and site is well laid out. Would definitely book again when in the area.
