Perfectly suited for couples, Malbec provides a heart-warming abode for those looking to escape the rush of everyday life and uncover the delights of the Isle of Wight.
After a day of wandering the coastline, step into your new abode and discover a well-appointed kitchenette, where you can conjure up a home-made dish to be enjoyed at the dining area.
The interior features inset lighting in the ceilings over the bed/seating area, giving the impression of a starlit sky at night.

Lovely views and on a bus route.
Was easy enough to contact when I had a problem with the lock. I didn't have to wait long for someone to come out and fix it. A dustpan and brush and drainer for the pots would have been helpful.
We were happy with our stay at the Melbourne.
In the Isle of Wight, however, here's some recommendations on how to improve their accommodation. We felt the bad situation was a bit awkward. Having to pull-down the bed every time we wanted to use the bed at night time and we thought the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Although we did have good night, sleep We also recommend maybe some salt and pepper. And sugar are to be left in the accommodation. As we didn't think we needed to buy them, and we also felt like the privacy was not very private. Considering the photos said it was very private and very romantic. Also would recommend maybe having a timer on the outside light in the car park.So they turn off at a certain time as the lights would be coming into the the lodge and a disturbing the sleep at night time. As it was so bright outside the er doors.Overall, we had a great time at the malbec in the isle of wight and would recommend it to anyone
Lovely well equipped hut and spotlessly clean.
Very quiet but not a lot of privacy as situated next to the car park of the Vineyard, which isn’t shown in photos. There is a very nice pub behind the huts, which was a bonus! Most photos of the Malbec are of the sister cabin the Merlot! This is a mis representation of the Malbec hut, and I have reported this to the maintenance company, who are advising the owner. This caused an issue for me with regards to the bed. The bed is very comfortable, but is considerably higher than a normal bed, which caused me a problems getting in and out. I asked the management company for a foot stool, but the owner refused, and said he would not be providing one. For anyone under 5’4, I would say this is a health and safety issue, and would not book the Malbec! I wasn’t worried when booking , as I saw a stool next to the bed, and a wooden structure at the end of the bed which would help as leverage into the bed, but these are photos of The Merlot and not the Malbec, which had neither! The visitors in the Merlot, when there, kindly lent me their bedside stool that I could kneel on to get into bed, and once they left, I piled cushions on the floor to use as leverage. We also reported to the maintenance company that the fan supplied, broke after half an hour use. It was a very hot week, but fortunately we brought our own, as the fan wasn’t replaced whilst there. We enjoyed our week, and the IOW, but it was marred by the bed situation, and because of this, I would not return to the Malbec.
