    “I stayed in Malbec for 5 nights in October.”

    The hut is very nicely appointed, spotlessly clean, and everything appears brand new. The hut is well insulated and I didn't need to use the heating. The bed is comfy and although the shower is small, it works well and the water is hot. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hut is small - a bit like living on a boat. There is very limited storage for a week's worth of clothing. The bed folds down from the wall but was quite comfortable and the bedding was clean and all seemed new. The only ...

The bed is comfy and although the shower is small, it works well and the water is hot. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hut is small - a bit like living on a boat. There is very limited storage for a week's worth of clothing. The bed folds down from the wall but was quite comfortable and the bedding was clean and all seemed new. The only room for improvement is that there is no outdoor lighting on the site at night time. I was visiting family on the Island, and so each night I arrived back to the hut after dark and had to use my phone flashlight to find my way. If I'd been checking in after dark, I'm sure I would not have been able to find the key safe, which is located on the back side of the wooden stairs. Other than that, I had a good experience.

SEAVIEW

Seaview is a small Edwardian seaside village on the north eastern shores of the Isle of Wight, only a 15 minute drive from the superb transport links of Ryde. Seaview is one of the South of England’s most famous holiday destinations, with a reputation of being an upmarket resort. This lovely seaside resort has stunning views out across the Solent, gorgeous golden sandy beaches, a sailing club, boutique shops and many popular restaurants and pubs, such as The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort. On the coastal footpath towards Ryde just off Springvale is Puckpool Park, an old Victorian Fortification Battery, now with tennis courts, mini-golf and a children’s play area set within its pretty gardens. In the summer, locals and tourists take part in the famous Seaview Regatta, competing in many traditional activities, with races on the beach at Seagrove Bay, rowing in the village’s own unique boats, tug of war, the greasy pole and diving, all concluded at the end of the week with a magnificent firework display. As well as being a coastal village the nearby countryside at Seaview’s Duver is a nature reserve, with frequent visits from the beautiful red squirrel, as well as having an incredible array of bird life.
