This was the fourth visit to syhra missed the old management team never sore anyone during our stay having to check our own hot tub for chemicals not a good idea for people who have no knowledge of hot tub care this was our last visit Paul Ashford

Amazing facility of the peoperty, cant fault anything

Lodge clean and well equipped.

There needs to be some information on what is available for guests on arrival as last few times there has been a welcome back with essentials, tea, coffe, milk etc, which was not there for this visit. Luckily local Tesco available. Shower was not proviiding hot water, probably about luke warm, and not able to turn heating on, as no instructions provided. Hot water was slow to come on when washing dishes. Possibly a small table by the settee as when sitting there any drinks have to go on the floor.

Lovely lodges in a small quiet setting, lodges well equipped with everything you would need, the hot tub was amazing even having Bluetooth so you can listen to music while relaxing.

Walking from your doorstep, a nice stroll to a beautiful beach and you can walk to Ryde a longer walk, which has plenty to see and do. It is a perfect setting for relaxation and the sun rises are beautiful too.

It was a great place to stay.

It was very well equipped, I don't think there was anything we needed that wasn't provided (perhaps a couple more bin bags). The neighbouring pub was lovely with good food - the Takeaway pizzas were a welcome option.

Beautiful lodge in great, clean condition.

Well appointed kitchen. Clean, crisp bedding & a lovely atmosphere. Great base for this side of the island. I would be even happier if the gardens were more private as the 2 neighbouring lodges had a perfect view of us climbing in & out of the hot tub! Issue will be solved once the landscaping matures but some privacy screening would be a great addition. Highly recommend & will be returning. If you are considering this property, I would suggest you go ahead!

Fantastic lodge.

We would happily recommend a stay here. Lovely clean site and a special mention goes to the Mermaid Bar (great food, cocktails, shot tasting board and especially the lovely staff).

Third visit to the same property unfortunately probably the last as I understand children are now allowed at this complex.

i have nothing against children but not during my holiday time.will be sorry not to come back yours Paul Ashford

Cleanliness unfortunately I dropped something that rolled just under the bed not good the dust bunnies had moved out it was so bad.

Maintenance left a lot to be desired the handle on the front bi fold doors was not there and the bathroom door handle was broken

Had a great relaxing holiday.

Weather was glorious and hot tub was well used. The site was well maintained and Syrah was very clean and tidy and comfortable. The only thing I would have liked was a grab handle in the shower, but thats just me. Definitely 5 stars.

Lovely property with everything you need.

Just the attention to detail that was lacking…. crumbs left on the dining table, 2 chipped mugs in the cupboard and the bathroom is ready for a tidy up on both the windowsills and also the damp mouldy wall near the shower, as well as the loose toilet seat. But there was everything there that we needed, and the lodge was in a lovely quiet location, having good access to everywhere.

My father in laws family feedback is similar to ours, location excellent with lovely quiet views and comfortable beds.

Place very dirty, sink, shelves, floor, they are both 80...but felt the need to clean all cupboards and contents before use for their safety and hygiene. Outdoor furniture rotten - rusted out and flaking as ours was; i moved them when required as i didn't want them hurt like me. R. Spoke to site maintenance about their toaster tripping out the power supply. Person came out and said the socket was faulty somehow and not to use. Nobody came back to fix or confirm if the problem was deeper or extremely dangerous. (Also as my experience as ana engineer the socket should have had a label or tape put over stating the socket was potentially dangerous and should not be used). On the day of leaving other lodge users passed my Father in law and asked what he thought; all said they asked as they where disgusted at how dirty and poorly maintained the properties where. Puzzled at the feedback from previous visitors compared to what we experienced and heard on site.

This property is maturing well as it had only been open a few months when we stayed last year.

Well located for acess to all locations. Comfortable stay and relaxing site.

A great week’s holiday!

We had a problem on arrival because the property hadn’t been cleaned but this was sorted out really quickly for us with huge apologies. The lodge itself was lovely and we certainly made use of the great hot tub. 10 minutes walk to the beach and 1 minute from the Mermaid distillery and restaurant - I’d highly recommend it!

When viewing your site to book, lodges described as 2 bed and 2 ensuite which suited us.

We arrived to find only one bathroom - why? Also NO HAIRDRYER in the property. Otherwise all good and comfortable. Would love your feedback. Linda bishop

The property was very nice but my 75 year old wife had a real struggle with opening the bedroom doors, as the springs that close the doors were much too fierce.

The shower was only tepid. A non-slip shower mat would be better for elderly people. We couldn't work out how to use the halogen hob. Three more small points - a serving spoon was not provided, a 2 handed oven glove would have been safer and a coffee table would have been better than the rustic chest.

We enjoyed our stay we liked the hottub.

Perfect property for anyone staying in the Isle Of Wight.

Couldn't fault it one bit. We will definitely be back.

Well presented property, all facilities were working and enjoyed sitting on the verandah or using the hot tub. In a good location for getting to all parts of the island although we stayed mainly on he east side as we've not been in that area before.
