Pull in and park the car, then follow the gentle gravel path as the soft crunch beneath your feet accompanies the walk towards the pod’s wooden curved exterior, where a small bench and coat hook wait beside the door.

As the second of two pods crafted to sit naturally within the woodland, it opens into a neat, welcoming studio with a dining table for two for unhurried meals, a well-placed bed with overhead storage for keeping belongings organised, and a kitchen area complete with a wooden worktop crafted from timber gathered on the grounds.

The shower room adds character with its patterned tiles, offering a refreshing space after exploring the Highlands.

Outside, a covered deck invites you to sit and watch the trees shift in the breeze before stepping into the strimmed meadow where wild orchids emerge in spring, butterflies drift among the grasses and roe deer, pine martens, foxes, rabbits and badgers often pass through.

The surrounding woodland, rich with Caledonian pines, stretches across twenty-eight acres, all open for guests to wander freely.

A short stroll leads to the shared octagonal roofed shelter with open sides, where the scent of wood mingles with the warmth of the barbecue and a fridge keeps ingredients within easy reach, creating a relaxed place to cook or unwind as the evening settles in.
