Description

Nestled amongst a cluster of stunning detached lodges on the peaceful Wemyss Bay Holiday Park, you will find Argyll View Lodge.

Beautifully appointed throughout, with stylish interiors and sleek electrical appliances, this gorgeous ground-floor dwelling is perfect for families or groups of six seeking a relaxing retreat to the incredible shores of the Scottish Lowlands.

As you enter into this attractive holiday home, stumble upon a handy utility room with a washing machine, the perfect place to store your coats and boots or wash off your sandy clothes following a fun-filled day at the beach.

Make yourself feel right at home in the open-plan living space as you lounge with friends in the seating area and watch a captivating movie on the Smart TV, or take to the well-equipped kitchen and prepare a hearty meal for the whole group to enjoy at the dining table.

Continue the evening with drinks at the breakfast bar before retiring to your chosen bedroom, whether it be the spacious king-size with en-suite shower, the double bedroom or the quaint twin bedroom.

All bedrooms have their own television complete with integrated DVD player.

Finishing off the interior of the lodge, you will find a sophisticated bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, allowing you to choose how to best prepare for the day ahead!

Open up the patio doors and enjoy a moment of tranquillity as you enjoy a refreshing glass of wine out on the decking and watch as ferries cross the clear waters towards the magnificent Isle of Bute.

During the park’s open season, Wemyss Bay Holiday Park gives you everything you need to enjoy a fun-filled family break, from an indoor heated pool and sauna to dining at the bar & restaurant with evening entertainment and children’s clubs.

Also on site is a convenience store, laundrette and café offering Costa Coffee and outdoor seating areas with spectacular views.

Wemyss Bay is a beautifully scenic coastal village and gateway to all the west coast of Scotland has to offer.

When you can just about manage to tear yourself away from this homely abode, be sure to set about on an awe-inspiring hike along the Ayrshire Coastal Path or travel deep into the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and explore the vast and luscious landscapes with a walk up Scroogy and Dunrod Hill.

Admire spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde from Largs Viewpoint, before taking a tour of the colourful Kelburn Castle and Estate.

Over in Greenock, guests will find landmarks and attractions such as Granny Kempock Stone and Lyle Hill.

Spend the day on the Isle of Bute and uncover the imposing architecture of Mount Stuart and the beautiful sands of Kerrycroy Bay Beach.

Back in Wemyss Bay you can indulge in a delicious dinner and bottle of wine down at the local pub, or head to the well-stocked supermarket in search of some fresh ingredients ahead of an entertaining evening indoors

Lovely lodge in a beautiful part of the country with the convenience of a train station a short walk away.

Linda was an amazing host with little touches that made all the difference, the welcome basket, games available to play, dvds for a rainy evening and warm, spacious, comfortable rooms. The views were a special way to wake up in the morning and the peace and quiet made for a relaxing break.

Lovely place with a wonderful view on a quiet holiday park (no screaming kids, just a few screaming gulls) .

Walking path starts right beside the lodge/caravan. Close to train station, small co-op supermarket and the ferry to Bute. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (maybe add a large salad bowl). Nice collection of books and dvd's, lovely welcome hamper and kind hostess who checks in (via text) to see if all is well. If we are in the neighbourhood we would love to stay again.

The owner was a lovely lady who was helpful and informative. The view was amazing. We had a wonderful holiday and look forward to returning in the future.
