Description

Bembridge 1.5 miles.

117 Crosswinds is a contemporary, three-bedroom holiday chalet on a serene corner plot, surrounded by lush foliage in Hillside, near the charming village of Bembridge on the Isle of Wight.

Designed across a single level for ease and comfort, this delightful retreat provides the perfect base for families or friends seeking to explore the many attractions and amenities nearby, including the stunning, rugged coastline of Whitecliff Bay.

Upon arrival, you'll find private parking conveniently located nearby.

Ascend a few steps to the stylish, gated wrap-around veranda, a secure and inviting space, perfect for soaking up the invigorating coastal breeze.

As a delightful sun trap, it’s an ideal spot to bask in the day’s last golden rays.

Step inside to discover the heart of the home: the open-plan living space.

Here, the designated chef can whip up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for those evenings when you prefer to dine in rather than visit the on-site restaurant.

Gather around the dining table to enjoy your feast, sharing stories and laughter.

Afterward, sink into the plush seating in the sitting area, where you can unwind in front of the Smart TV, warmed by the glow of the coal-effect fire.

On warmer evenings, throw open the patio doors to let in the gentle sounds of nature, perhaps catching the occasional bird song as you relax.

Wash away the day’s adventures in the well-appointed shower room before slipping into your comfiest pyjamas and choosing from three inviting bedrooms.

Unwind in the twin with its own TV, the second twin, or the elegant double, which also features a TV and the added bonus of an en-suite shower room for extra privacy and convenience.

Enjoy the sandy shores of the picturesque Whitecliff bay, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or exploring rock pools.

Benbridge Beach is more popular during summer months, ideal for family picnics, paddleboarding, or spotting the local wildlife.

Rent kayaks or paddleboards to explore Bembridge harbour, or book a fishing trip for a relaxing day on the water.

Lace up your hiking boots and embark on a trip through Culver Down for breathtaking views over the coastline and a chance to spot birds of prey.

Pay a visit to the National Trust building - Bembridge Windmill, don't forget your camera!

Animal lovers will enjoy a visit to the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, while families with young adventurers can ignite their imaginations at Dinosaur Isle.

This fascinating attraction, housed in a unique pterodactyl-shaped building, features animatronic dinosaurs and showcases over 1,000 of the island's finest fossils.

117 Crosswinds provides everything you could wish for in a self-catering holiday, making it the perfect choice for a memorable seaside getaway with your loved ones.

We had a really lovely stay.

The caravan was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the Crosswinds location was ideal — just a short walk to all the facilities. Buying passes was simple, and both the indoor and outdoor pools were great. The private beach was a beautiful bonus and made the whole holiday feel extra special.

A lot if effort has gone into organising the van.

The only items needing attention are as follows :- The Non On-suite Bathroom has the following issues 1./ The toilet seat is loose on toilet pedestal, sliding at an angle across the toilet itself … most annoying !! 2./ The Shower-head vertical support bar is loose at top anchor point … probably just a loose screw that needs tightening. 3./ the shower head cannot be taken off holder in use, again most annoying. The DVD Player remote control is nowhere to be found & the player cannot be manually set to ‘Play’ DVD’s !! Other than those points, The Van was in very good condition, with great facilities !!! Would return again if advised that the items mentioned have been rectified :-) . A very comfortable & well appointed Caravan. Regards Chris Padgett Emailto :- ‘chrisapadgett@googlemail.com’

the caravan was clean and tidy beds comfortable.

unfortunately no information on using the appliances. Also there was no hoover only a very small brush and dustpan which was completely useless for keeping the carpets clear. The toilet seat in main bathroom was broken and the plug in the sink in the same bathroom was very difficult to pull up letting the water in the sink to run away. The Isle of White was lovely and we enjoyed our stay there.
