Lovely location of the property.

The hosts Maxine and Steve were very helpful throughout our stay. Set in a quiet area close to some beautiful beaches. Local pub was friendly and a short walk away from the property. Best to have a car if wanting to visit the whole area. Able to buy local produce including fresh chicken and duck eggs. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay at the property

A real working farm complete with cows !

A delight to see barn swallows flying about as well. We loved our stay at Chale lodge ! A decently equipped kitchen which was appreciated. Great location not far from the Wight mouse inn!

Chale Farm lodge was a wonderful comfortable Lodge very Clean and also very well equipped with everything you would need for a quiet relaxing Holiday.

Beautiful surroundings at the lodge. Maxine is a very kind lovely lady and bakes a gorgeous lemon Drizzle cake which was a lovely gesture. We arrived late in the dark and Maxine had lit the log burning fire and closed all the blinds which made entering the lodge warm and very cosy indeed Thank-you Maxine we shall be returning to your lovely peaceful Lodge

Property was clean tidy and comfortable also well equipped complete with milk tea and coffee together a lemon drizzle cake, thank you.

Pleasant surroundings on the farm owner introduced herself on the first day and was helpful and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would return again when visiting the Isle of Wight.

What a lovely lodge we all enjoyed our stay the lodge was clean and comfortable the owners really have cater for most of essential needs!

Absolutely Stunning Cottage, Very welcoming, we totally enjoyed our stay at the farm, and highly recommend this holiday cottage.

2nd visit for us good weather in the week.

Lovely quiet holiday cottage with everything you could need, suited our families needs and my mum enjoyed her quiet holiday by the sea for her 70th birthday, very close to anywhere on the island and the local pub the mouse inn was only a 3 minute walk from the property and had lovely meals and a beautiful beer garden facing the sea.

We found the lodge to be exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Everything we needed for our weeks holiday was provided and easily accessible. The lodge is ideally situated for visiting the whole island and has a great pub within walking distance, but probably adviseable to book at the weekend.

An amazing place to stay and lovely owners Steve and Maxine who made us feel very welcome The children were able to go see the cattle every morning and anytime during the day even seeing a baby calf just after being born It was so peaceful there and so many places to visit not too far away Perfect

A gem of a find.

Very clean, warm and comfortable. Maxine was lovely with good comms and left us to enjoy our holiday knowing that if we did have any problems they would be sorted. Only negative was the weather but it did not stop us getting out and about. The lodge is central to all the major attractions. A lovely welcome with milk and lovely home made cake. Would defintaely recommend and we will be back.

The Lodge was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a very comfortable stay.

Maxine and Steve were very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending to anyone we know who is thinking of visiting the Isle of Wight.

We were a mixed family group, grandparents, parents and children (aged 7-70) and the property was great for all of us.

Lovely holiday overall lots to see & do within a few miles .

Would be helpful to have a little more in depth information in welcome book other than just leaflets. Marxine our host, was extremely helpful after we found a wasps nest near the front door to our holiday home ,was delt with extremely quickly .Ideal family lodge clean comfortable accommodation for 1 family . The only downside the lodge being in a rural location we struggled with to find a taxi willing to take us to the local hospital which is only 20min driveaway. After ringing 5 taxi companies 3 unable to help , 4th 1hr 30min wait, the 5th over 4hrs wait , which was no fault of the hosts . Overall wd highly recommend this holiday home .

A comfortable and clean wooden lodge located within the grounds of the owners working farm.

Ideally situated for access to to all parts of the island with a good pub/restaurant only a few minutes walk away. Maxine and Steve are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Great views from the lounge up to "the Pepper Pot".

Chale Farm Lodge is a home away from home.

Maxine and Steve have paid every attention to detail and the accommodation is second to none. All practical needs are met; it was just beautiful. Sitting outside on the terrace after a day touring around was a delight. Chale is a lovely little village with a superb pub; the food was great and within walking distance. We will return. Thank you Maxine and Steve for a much needed break.

We've had such a lovely stay at chale farm lodge.

A comfortable and cosy place, with everything we could have needed. Lovely and warm too, only needed the fire on once. Great location and lovely setting, watching the tractors at work each day. We visited shanklin a few times, tapnell farm and dinosaur isle, to name a few, all of which were a big hit for our 3 year old. Great food at the white mouse inn, white horse, and dairyman's daughter. We would love to come and stay again!

We had a really lovely few days at the Lodge which was extremely comfortable.

Our two young grand children loved wandering up to see the cows and calves. The Lodge was well laid out and it was a lovely touch having a cake left for us! Just one minor point, as it was February it was quite cool and so we used the lovely log burner. It would have been useful/safer to have had a fire guard around this as we were always wary that the grand children would get too close and touch it. Apart from that minor point, I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely Lodge

This was a really lovely stay on the edge of a working farm.

Our little boy loved seeing the tractors drive past each morning, and the garden was all enclosed which was brilliant for toddlers. The beds and sofas were really comfy, and the log stove kicks out a lot of heat for cozy evenings in. We would happily come back here again in the future. The only thing we noticed was the WiFi and TV signal were a little tempermental, but to be expected in a rural location.

The fresh milk and delicious cake were a nice surprise. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The recommendation of the pub 5 minutes walk was perfect after a day of exploring the island's historic sites.

We had a wonderful stay at Chale Farm Lodge.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We were also very grateful for the milk and the very yummy homemade cake left for us to enjoy! There is beautiful views of the hills (sometimes covered in cows) and you often see a tractor or two driving past which our two year old was very excited about. It was a great location as super close to Blackgang Chine and the pub down the road was amazing! So pleased that this was as lovely as we hoped as it was our daughters first holiday! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others - thank you so much, Maxine and Steve!

We had a brilliant holiday, the lodge was a great base for exploring the island.

The enclosed garden was particularly useful with a young energetic child who loves being outside. The owners were extremely friendly, making us feel very welcome ( cake and tea, coffee, milk and sugar on arrival). We were also given the chance to meet a new arrival on the farm (New born calf). The Wight mouse Inn just up the road was the perfect place to have food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Chale Farm Lodge was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We had a party of 6 ranging from 16 to legend, and it was perfect. Would definitely go back.

Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

However, as we are senior citizens, the addition of more comfortable outdoor furniture would be a big plus.

We have just returned from a lovely stay on the IOW at Chale Farm Lodge it was perfect.

A great location for exploring the island. The lodge was spacious clean and had everything we needed (family x4 ) The boys loved watching the daily life on the farm and the hosts even let them help feed the lambs which was super kind and exciting. Would definitely recommend.

Six of us, grandparents, parents and grandchildren all had a fantastic holiday in a comfortable, very cosy Lodge.

It was really great for our grandchildren to experience life on a real working farm. Holding and feeding newborn lambs was a highlight of their week. What wonderful, friendly hosts, thank you so much.

Only one comment l wish too make is that there was no safety mat for the bath and the shower.

The bath was particularly slippery which could prove to be dangerous

It was a wonderful holiday - exactly what we needed!

The Lodge is compact but well laid out. We each had our own space in the bedrooms, and the living area was a good place for family time. Sofa is very comfortable, and the fire definitely kept us toasty warm all week. We were very happy with the location too - everything felt close enough, and we had good times exploring Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, and the Donkey Sanctuary - which we would definitely recommend. We did find the recycling instructions a little confusing, so hopefully we got it all right. We loved our time in Chale Farm Lodge, and would highly recommend this, and the Isle of Wight, for anybody looking for a family friendly time away.

From start to finish the lodge was everything we wanted it to be.

Directions and key collection were perfect and the lodge was fully up to expectations. What struck me most however was how clean it was, everything was absolutely spotless. Comfy bed, relaxing sofa, good cooking facilities and more.. The lodge is on a working farm but no distractions from noise. Finally Maxine the host was great, lovely cake and milk were provided - much needed on arrival. It was great to know she was nearby to answer any questions. For a relaxing break on the island, a couple or a family would be hard pushed to find better.

Very friendly welcome from the owners.

Very child friendly with a safe, fenced off garden, which meant our 2 year old could safely watch all the farm tractors at work. Everything we could want was provided, including ironing board and iron. Perfect.

Wonderful lodge for family holiday and exploring the island.

The owners were really welcoming and we loved the kind gesture of a homemade cake and milk on arrival.

The accommodation was very clean, the large sofa and beds comfortable, and the lodge had everything we needed.

Through the floor to ceiling windows we were able to watch some of the farm activity without ever feeling overlooked. The local inn served decent food, and being within walking distance of the lodge the driver could have a drink too. We would highly recommend this holiday lodge for its facilities, comfort and location.

With a warm welcome and everything you might need and more. Lovely enclosed garden for the children to safely enjoy watching the farm.

Comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location with easy access to beautiful south coast and the rest of the Island.

Kitchen well equipped and very clean as was rest of lodge. Owners very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend this property it was great base for touring the island.

Chale Farm Lodge was exactly like the pictures, a modern style spacious chalet in a great location, quiet, remote and beautiful surroundings, with a 1 minute walk to the nearest pub and 5 minutes to the coast.

The hosts, Maxine and Steve, were extremely friendly and contacted us in advance of arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. The property was spotless and very comfortable for our stay. If you have not been to the Isle of Wight before, everything is accessible within a short drive and at this accommodation you have plenty of peace and tranquility away from crowds. We enjoyed nearby coastal walks, seeing the animals on the farm and cosy nights in. Wednesday there is a mobile fish & chip takeaway that comes to Chale that has a 5* online rating, and was also recommended by Maxine! There is a TV and a few games available at the chalet to keep you entertained. We would certainly love to go back, it was just the type of break we needed and both welcoming and conveniently placed for everything we needed on the IOW.

The owner of this accommodation was very friendly and welcoming we were made very welcome even taking time out of a very busy day to invite us to see there newly born calves We would highly recommend this holiday
