Review of Cape 11: due to the heatwave the chalet was stifling, we opened all the doors and windows, but unfortunately the fan light window in the double room didn't open (reported but not fixed) and later we found the main window in the twin room had 'dropped' so closing up was difficult
Once we'd settled and had a good night's sleep we found the chalet to be comfortable for relaxing and was well equipped for a self catering break. The deck area, overlooking the green, was pleasant and a real sun trap until around 2pm.
Unfortunately, with so much sunlight streaming through, it highlighted dust and cobwebs under cabinets and dining room chairs. The bathroom had good space, towels were a great size, but again areas like the door frame and skirting (beneath radiator) needed a deep clean.
In summary, a comfortable stay but could be much cleaner.
My apologies and thanks for bringing this to my attention. I will discuss this with the cleaning agency
