Pierpont D1
Description
Yarmouth 1.2 miles.
Pierpont D1 is a pleasant, single-storey holiday home settled on the grounds of the desirable West Bay Club, a stone's throw from the popular town of Yarmouth.
Pierpont D1 is an excellent base for both families and friends looking to discover the Isle of Wight.
Stepping inside, be charmed by the warm and homely interior of the open-plan living space, sure to be the heart of the home, where you can look forward to cosying up in front of the television to enjoy a family-favourite, or gathering together at the dining table to tuck-in to a hearty meal.
Tucked away at the rear of the sociable space is the kitchen, traditionally decorated with wooden fixtures and equipped with a fantastic range of facilities.
In the warmer months, throw open the patio doors and carry the conversation to the garden, where you can soak in the last of the evening sunshine with a glass of fizz in hand.
When the day draws to a close, retreat indoors to catch your rest in one of two well-presented bedrooms, with a double with it's own en-suite and a twin room to choose from; a family bathroom fit with both a bath and an overhead shower is situated across the way.
For those evenings where you don't fancy doing the cooking, take the short walk to the local pub, the Boathouse Yarmouth, where you can dine with an unspoilt view of the glistening waters of The Solent.
History buffs will delight with a visit to the 16th century Tudor fortress of Yarmouth Castle, whilst those looking to cast their line can try their hand at fishing aboard Yarmouth Pier.
With a network of walking trails across the island, there's plenty for the avid outdoor adventurer to see and do; soak in the spectacular views from the Isle of Wight Coastal Path, stretching over 70 miles around the perimeter of the island, or keep your eyes peeled for seals and sea birds hiding amongst the peaceful Newtown National Nature Reserve.
For a lazy afternoon spent at the beach, take the quirky chairlift from the clifftop to reach the glorious sands of Alum Bay Pebble Beach, and why not take a pleasure cruise to come up close with the dramatic Needles Rocks and Lighthouse?
An adventure awaits with a stay at Pierpont D1.

What guests are saying
A great stay, had everything we needed, nice having an en-suite in addition to bathroom, all clean with comfortable beds, enjoyed the private decked area off the kitchen, saw a red squirrel, osprey?
two partridges, rabbits and bats outside. Getting around the Island was easy. Discounted ferry was much appreciated. Would happily stay again.
Had a fantastic stay here, second year of us staying.
Perfect location for exploring the island. Accommodation was as described, had everything that we needed. Owner (Daniel) of accommodation contacted us about discounted Ferry tickets which was a huge saving, great guy, communication was spot on. All towels and linen was provided and were clean, the only negative was Sykes cleaners who we booked the accommodation with do not seem to throughly clean the accommodation before the visit, the kitchen and the bathrooms in particular, and also the dining table was sticky. Other than that it was a great holiday.
Well located: easy walk, cycle or drive to the Yarmouth ferry terminal.
The Wightlink ferry worked well from Lymington (and we were able to get on one earlier than booked for both the journey out and back), although there is also another one called the Kracken for foot passengers, which we didn't know about. The property is as advertised: pleasant holiday village and everything you would expect, including a secluded terrace with table and chairs outside. The oven worked well! For the fridge, having it turned up high kept the things in the ice box frozen but also froze some of the fruit in the fridge. On a lower setting the fridge was fine but the ice box defrosted. Customer service was excellent: we had a blocked bathroom sink on the first day but someone came round within a couple of hours to fix it. Yarmouth is an easy walk away (as is Fort Victoria country park): we were also able to cycle to Tapnell Fam and down to the Needles. Fitter cyclists than me can probably cover the whole island! Communications from both Sykes and the owner have been excellent. Overall an enjoyable holiday: thank you.
