“Fabulous cottage in a beautiful peaceful location.”
The cottage was immaculately clean and spacious. Ideal place for families and you get your own space and fully equipped cottage. Fully equipped kitchen for enjoying cookings in the evening. Everything was so perfect in the cottage and cottage was beautifully decorated. Cottage of this owner is really helpful and he helped us to book ferry with reduced price. Location is very close to Yarmouth harbour.
On the negative side, there is no swimming pool, shop or entertainment in the cottage area.
Dear Jayshree.
Thank you so much for leaving your feedback, it’s very important to us.
We are delighted you loved our ‘special happy place’. Your complete satisfaction is what we strive for, and we are disappointed if we don’t achieve 100% satisfaction. We are so glad you agree it is a beautiful cottage and in a beautiful location.
Sadly we don’t have a swimming pool or shop on site, so I’m sorry if you thought there was, as we don’t advertise that there is.
However, the cottage is only a 3 minute drive from the pretty town of Yarmouth, and five mins drive to Freshwater. Yarmouth is full of lovely shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and its own historic castle.
Freshwater has supermarkets, and also has a sports complex, complete with indoor swimming pool and gym amongst other facilities.
The beaches of Yarmouth. Colwell Bay, Totland, and Freshwater Bay are only a few minutes drive too.
We sincerely hope you will come back, as we would be delighted to host you again.
Thank you once again for booking our ‘special happy place’.
Warmest regards, John & Liz.

About the location
YARMOUTH
Newport 12 miles; Ryde 18 miles.
The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling (and a cycle hire shop) and walking to be had along the coastal path. Why not take an energetic stroll at the nearby Tennyson Down and Headon Warren. Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, with Colwell Bay with its sandy beach and amenities for the family 7 minutes away by car. Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty is another good spot for crabbing. Four miles away is Compton Bay, famous for dinosaur remains; head there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yarmouth is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful island.
