Set moments from the glistening waters of Wheelers Bay, as well as the craggy landscape of the Ventnor Downs, Seas The Day provides a truly idyllic base for a family of four to enjoy a staycation on the Isle of Wight.
A delightful decked area greets you at the foot of this lovely abode, providing an excellent spot to sit out and soak in the last of the evening sunshine with your favourite tipple in hand following a day of adventure.
Stepping inside, be welcomed into the open-plan living/dining room, sure to be the social hub of the home, where you can look forward to snuggling up with your loved ones on the sumptuous corner sofa with your favourite show playing on the television, or gathering together at the dining table to tuck-into a hearty meal.
The adjoining kitchen is equipped with all of the essential amenities, along with a handy dishwasher to help keep your space neat and tidy following mealtimes!
When sleep calls, you'll find two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a twin, each offering ample storage space and framing picture-perfect views of the surrounding tropical planting.
In the morning, kick-start your day with a revitilising rinse under the shower head before joining your guests on the deck for steaming cup of coffee.
Take advantage of your close proximity to the coast, where the pristine sands of Ventnor Beach rest just moments away from your doorstep, perfect for paddling the shores of the turquoise waters, or tackling the waves with an afternoon of kayaking or surfing.
A traditional seaside resorts, there's plenty to see and do in the heart of Ventnor itself; make a splash at Ventnor Paddling Pool, uncover the areas fascinating history with a tour of Ventnor Heritage Museum, snap a photo with the iconic Ventnor Sign, or lose yourself amongst the abundance of tropical plants at Ventnor Botanic Garden.

We stayed here for 3 nights and upon first impression, it looked great.
It was in a lovely location and this is what originally sold it to us. Outside was a massive green area which was great for the kids to be able to play and run around. You could walk up the hill and see an amazing view of the sea. Inside was a decent sized kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and lots of crockery, cutlery, pots & pans etc, we also had tea towels, kitchen towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. The bathroom was a nice size too. Unfortunately what let it down was the musty smell as we walked in (even though the bedroom windows were open) and especially in the bedrooms. The whole place could do with a lot of TLC. There were cracks on cupboard doors, rust/mould around the bottom of the shower cubicle, stains on some of the chairs, damp stains on the ceilings in places, it could definitly benefit from being freshly decorated too. There was a half full bag of chips and a box of ice lollies left in the freezer (I assume from previous guests, and even though it asks you to remove everything, I guess that wasn't checked by cleaners). There was also a leak in the kitchen under the skylight, so we had to put a bowl on the floor to catch the water. I appreciate this was unlikely to have been noticed previously as there has been no rain until now, so this is more of a notice to the owners so they are aware. All in all, we had a really nice stay in the Isle of Wight however this was more down to the location of the home rather than the home itself.
It hadn’t been cleaned for anyone to feel comfortable in.
The dishwasher only cleanes very lightly dirtied dishes, but anything more it will not get clean. The bathroom’s door handle was hanging by a thread since it’s only glued to the door. We also had to fix that after it had broken off after its first use. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned, as there were items from the last visitor in there (used ones). Spider webs everywhere. The smell of mildew lingers, and there is a mouldy spot at the bathrooms ceiling. The key lock needs to be replaced right away. Otherwise, guest will have their fingernails flipped off, attempting to open it. The view outside is nice enough, but it takes you 20 minutes to access the beach. Nowhere was there any mention of a steep hill right at the gateway, and many more to follow. Compared to what we’ve seen in the villages nearby, I would hardly recommend this one. The host doesn’t bother to answer any messages. Disappointing, to say the least.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it is truly worth a visit.
It is in a very peaceful location with a short walk up a hill to sit on benches with a magnificent sea view. Lots of pubs and restaurants are within walking distance if you don't mind the hills. Will definitely be going again
