Badger View

Gary and Lucy are a very friendly couple who welcomed us to badger view.

Badger view it's self was a very comfortable and extremely clean it had everything you needed to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the visits from the ponies and playing ball with the resident dogs who were friendly and well mannard. Badger view was an ideal base for us to go out visiting places . We would love to return in the future. Wendy and tony.

We had a very relaxing break at Badger View, beautiful surroundings, it was lovely watching the wildlife and looked forward to our daily visits from the owners dogs and ponies.

If you are looking for a break to relax and unwind then look no further. The hosts are fantastic and make you feel very welcome. We will certainly be back.

Absolutely love this holiday home, brilliant if you love animals.

We got to play with the dogs every day, and feed the ponies too. Its a very comfortable home from home, everything you would need including things you don't usually get like washing supplies for clothes, iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Great access to the surrounding area, and many lovely places to visit as well, highly recommend Samphire Hoe and Knole Park, and it was easy access for us to visit family close by. Lovely hosts as well, we will definitely be staying here again.

We had a lovely, relaxing time at Badgers View.

The lodge is set in a really nice garden and woods. The house is small but perfectly formed and makes great use of the space. There is a nice decking area leading out of the bedroom and is a perfect place for a glass of wine. The owners Lucy & Gary are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. We had a great time with their friendly dogs playing fetch the ball! All in all a fabulous place for peace & quiet. The pubs & restaurants are about 5 minutes drive away the Italian restaurant about 10 mins drive. Thanks to Lucy & Gary for sharing their lovely grounds. Suzanne & Colin

What a fantastic place .

Loved the wildlife and visits from dogs and ponies.Very comfortable clean homely place with everything thing needed for a restful holiday. Air-conditioning was so welcoming in the heat wave. Visited some great places. Special thanks to Lucy and Gary who were great hosts. We arrived as guests and left as friends

We loved our week here.

The property is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The air conditioning was a huge bonus, as the weather was so hot. Set in a huge wooded garden, we enjoyed seeing the wildlife, the resident dogs and the miniature ponies. The owners, Gary & Lucy, are a lovely couple who made us feel most welcome. One of the best places we have stayed at. Thank you.

Wonderful place sad to leave it to come home.

I had planned lots of trips out as everything was only a short distance away but ended up sitting out on the terrace listening to the bird song with a good book and a glass of wine. The dogs and ponies were a delight though I don’t think I passed the ball/stick throwing lessons as my aim wasn’t too great ! Gary and Lucy are very welcoming and always available if there were any concerns This has been a great holiday very relaxing in lovely surroundings .

gary and lucy work hard to make the accommodation nice and it showed ,its pristine ,nicest iv'e stayed in, two well trained dogs who love a ball and three sweet pony's who love a carrot or two and a very active tree with squirrels, jay's and woodpecker's + a large pond filled with very big koi carp all made for great entertainment all you need is the weather

Nothing more to add to the 5 star reviews (it's all true) except to mention the AIR CONDITIONING!

We stayed during a heat-wave and the very quiet and simple air-con units meant we had a comfortable night's sleep. Lovely relaxing break - thank you Gary & Lucy.

This property location is ideal if watching nature is part of your holiday, the owners Garry & Lucy are happy for their guests to explore their enclosed woodland.

This is a relaxing holiday getaway.

For my solo holiday this accommodation was perfect, I felt safe being on the owners property and had lovely chats with Gary and Lucy.

For animal and nature lovers this is paradise, from waking up to birdsong to watching the squirrels and foxes, plus playing with the owners 2 dogs and feeding the 2 Shetland ponies. Not forgetting the chickens! The property is very well kitted out for self catering, the bed is so comfy, everything here for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. It’s within half an hours drive of many National Trust properties; Hever and Leeds castle are also within an hours drive with Dover castle just over an hour away, so I had a very busy week exploring. I will definitely be coming back here for another holiday in the future, my little slice of paradise

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic and peaceful setting.

The owners were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. It was an ideal setting for exploring the areas many National Trust and English Heritage sites. Local general shop contributed to the easy week for us.

We had an amazing week at Badger View.

It was a perfect location for us to visit family. The accommodation was warm, very clean and so comfortable you instantly relaxed there. Lucy & Gary were the perfect hosts easy to talk to and so helpful but the real stars of the show were the animals. Bob & Jess who wanted to play ball every day and the ponies who visited most days were adorable. Thank you for such a fantastic week. Cathryn & Dave

I booked these 4 nights away for my partners birthday.

We both work hard and this break was exactly what we needed! Our hosts Gary and Lucy were amazing, gave us a very warm welcome to their beautiful grounds leading to our accommodation. It was comfortable, clean and was equipped everything you might need. The highlight for me was the fact that their ponies are free to roam and loved visiting us for a daily morning pet (and the odd apple or carrot). But this place is also home to their 2 friendly dogs, chickens, fish and the wildlife was so relaxing to watch over a cuppa any time of the day... We both completely switched off to our usual daily routines and came away feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. We cannot wait to visit again... And definitely will!

We had a lovely stay at Badger View.

A wonderful peaceful setting! Gary and Lucy are great hosts, friendly and easy to talk to. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed looking out on to the garden at the wildlife as well as playing ball with Bobby and Jesse and feeding the adorable ponies Barney, Snoopy and Stanley. The location was ideal for visiting National Trust properties. Highly recommend. A fantastic week, thank you Gary and Lucy.

We had a wonderful week in this idyllic place.

The surroundings are beautiful, and you can watch the squirrels and birds for hours. The ponies love carrots, so stock up, and we totally fell in love with Bobby and Jessie, we miss throwing the ball for them! We saw foxes in the garden twice, which was amazing to see, and the owls are very vocal at dusk which is so cool to hear. Lucy and Gary are such a lovely couple and we had many great chats. Missing it already and hope to come back next year. We would definitely recommend this beautiful property

Exceptional!

Badger View is the ultimate destination for anyone looking for a unforgettable holiday experience. Gary and Lucy give you the warmest of welcomes as do Bobby and Jess! The accommodation is absolutely immaculate and has everything you could possibly need for the most enjoyable of stays. The grounds are absolutely stunning and teeming with wildlife. Be prepared for a visit from Barney, Snoopy and Stanley the very friendly ponies. Set in a beautiful part of Kent and all major attractions within easy reach. A place you will want to return to time and time again! Thank you Gary and Lucy, we had the best time ever! Jane and Jon.

Another lovely break at Badger View.

It was lovely watching the wildlife in the garden we even saw a fox twice. Would definitely recommend it, lovely place

Had a wonderful holiday.

So lovely to wake up to see the pony’s and chickens eating in the garden and the dogs just waiting to go play ball with them. Such a quiet and peaceful spot especially so close to London. Will definitely be going back.

We have stayed in a lot of places all over the country but I have to say this little gem was perfect and top of my favourites.

The owners Gary and Lucy were the perfect hosts, giving us freedom to use the garden but also giving us privacy. Badger view is idyllic, set in beautiful surroundings with an enormous garden which is full of squirrels, birds the odd fox, 4 chickens and of course the three miniature horses they all have they're own characters and are so tame they love carrots. We've never felt so relaxed. The location was great for visiting National trust properties Hever Castle, Ightham Mote and Churchill's private home Chartwell and Chatham dockyard all within a 30 minute drive. We will definitely be returning.

We had the most wonderful time.

It is like a little oasis and the animals are just adorable. Thank you so much Lucy and Gary, you were the perfect hosts and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more than we did.

we had a super stay at Badgers View, if you like wildlife and domestic animals this is the place for you , be prepared to play ball with Bobby the collie and make a fuss of his sister Jesse, We enjoyed our chats with Lucy and Gary great hosts , lots of local walks and a good shop in Village, we will return , Many thanks for our holiday Peter and Jane

Had a lovely stay, in what was a perfect setting.

Lucy & Gary made us so welcome and we wanted for nothing during our stay in the clean and comfortable Badgers View. The added bonus was meeting their family of ponies, dogs and chickens, which made a perfect holiday for us.

What an idyllic spot!

The cottage was very well-equipped and very comfortable. It was delightful to sit and watch the squirrels, ponies and chickens. We also had a couple of late evening visits from the local fox. The owners were incredibly helpful. Useful rail links from Meopham station into Central London and the Kent Coast. An ideal base for exploring Kent. We will definitely return.

We had a lovely week here: it had all that we needed in a quiet setting.

The dogs, ponies & hens were fun to watch too. Property Owners friendly but not intrusive. Great base for seeing the sights in Kent.

Fantastic, spotlessly clean property.

Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. An ideal base for exploring North Kent and South London, close to Brands Hatch if you enjoy motor racing. Gary & Lucy are friendly but not intrusive. Their ponies, chickens and dogs also welcome you, particularly if you supply carrots and throw balls. Lots of birds, squirrels and foxes come right up to the property (badgers too but we didn’t see any). Will definitely return.

Gary and Lucy are really friendly, they could not do enough for us.

The place was really comfy and spotless with everything you need. The doors overlooked the garden where we saw squirrels and foxes frolicking on the lawn. The horses and dogs also came to visit. It is a great location for getting out and about with lots of National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit. We had wonderful time and will definitely return.

Gary and Lucy gave a really friendly welcome to their beautiful property which is so clean and fresh like new.

It is a perfect base for exploring the local area with great local pubs for evening meals. The wild life and pets are very engaging to. We would highly recommend this property as one of the best we have stayed in.

A lovely holiday home in beautiful surroundings.

The accommodation was well set out although the shower room was a bit tight for us larger persons. We enjoyed the wildlife, foxes and badgers and entertaining grey squirrels. There are loads of historic properties to explore and the countryside was beautiful with bluebells everywhere we went. Thank you for facilitating a relaxing break.

We really needed this holiday as life at home is so hectic.

It was everything we wanted and needed. The owners could not do more for us, they were lovely. The property had everything needed, well equipped and comfortable. Lovely to look out at the ponies, squirrels and chickens. The badgers came for our food but only when they were sure we were asleep. The woods had bluebells and primroses. Very relaxing atmosphere, perfect.

We cannot recommend Badger View Highly enough, a really first rate property!

Gary and Lucy are the perfect hosts. The property was sparklingly clean with quality furnishing and fittings and they provided us with everything we needed for a wonderful stay over Christmas. (Thank you for our Christmas card!) We especially loved the location, wonderfully secluded, nestled in private grounds, with only the lovely little horses, birds and cheeky squirrels to keep us company, it offered us much needed peace and quiet, absolutely perfect. A bonus was, we knew Gary and Lucy were always on hand for any enquiries, which they answered promptly. We're really looking forward to staying there again next year. Colour us impressed. Thank you both! Beverley and Matt :)

Badger View is a wonderful cottage for 2-4 people.

It’s in a beautiful location and very well appointed and decorated. It’s perfect! The owners, Gary and Lucy, and friendly and helpful while offering privacy and space.

Absolutely lovely place, so peaceful, really enjoyed sitting looking out at the wildlife playing in the delightful gardens.

Gary and Lucy really lovely people, so helpful. My partner is slightly unsteady on his feet and struggled getting across the step into the property, mentioned this to Gary and by the time we had returned form a day out Gary made a step the ease access, really thoughtful. Cannot recommend Badger View enough, we use rental holiday lets a lot and this has to be one of the best we have stayed in. Tony and Mark

Badgers and foxes delight.

The owners of the cottage were extremely outgoing and welcoming. They explained all that we needed to know and were unobtrusive yet friendly and helpful. The cottage surpassed our expectations especially with its beautiful woodland setting. We were free to roam the woodland trail and to enjoy the animals that lived there and were cared for by the owners.

We have just got back from a wonderful week staying at Badger View.

Such lovely accommodation every need has been thought of. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Also there was an added bonus of being able to watch all the wildlife, which we found very entertaining. Bobby and Jesse the 2 dogs were so friendly and visited often. Not leaving out the 3 ponies they were such characters and so gentle. Thank you to Gary and Lucy who were wonderful and were always on hand if you needed to know anything. A very relaxing week. Highly recommend. Will be back most definitely.

Excellent property.

Good location for many things including NT. Our hosts, Lucy and Gary were wonderful. We really benefited from the air conditioning, especially with the unexpected heatwave. We would highly recommend this exceptional property.

This is a beautiful place.

Gary and Lucy were the perfect hosts.

They were very easy to talk to, a good laugh and at the same time respected our privacy at all times. Badger View certainly lived up to it's name, although it could easily be named, Badger, Fox, Squirrel, Pony, Chicken, Dog and Cat View, thanks to the abundant wildlife and pets we watched from our patio. We very much hope to return soon.

Fabulous stay at Badger View.

Really enjoyed watching the badgers and foxes together each evening. Loved the ponies and the very friendly dogs. The setting is perfect. Fabulous hosts and a spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped lodge. Couldn't be happier

High standard equipment cottage.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful owners. Most recommended!

Lucy and Gary were lovely people very friendly.

The cottage was excellent and had everything we needed. If we didn’t want to venture far we could sit and watch the wildlife, the two dogs Jesse and Bobby were such lovely dogs and the three ponies were so sweet and loved carrots. The peace and quiet was so restful. Enjoyed our holiday very much

The property was lovely well kept, in wonderful surroundings 10 out of 10 in all aspects could not of asked and received anything better .

The holiday property was excellent ,the furnishings ,and appliances were modern and more than adequate.

Everything was well decorated and the cleanliness was exceptional. A credit to Lucy and Gary.

Lovely cosy place with great gardens.

Lovely warm welcome from our hosts, the cottage was exceptional in every detail. Plenty to see and do in the local area and we returned every day where Bobby dog would be waiting with his ball.

Gary and Lucy are very welcoming.

Badger View is perfect in every way, spotless and had everything we needed. It was lovely to see all the animals. Would highly recommend.

The property is gorgeous, clean and the best ever cottage we have stayed in. If you are an animal lover this is the place to go, you can while away the time watching the antics of the squirrels, then there's Jessie and Bobby, collies, Bobby loves you to throw his ball for him. There are also badgers and foxes to ge seen. To finish it off there are three beautiful Shetland ponies, who love carrots. We had a wonderful week.

Gary and Lucy were so welcoming. We had lovely chats but they never imposed themselves on us. The animals were adorable especially Bobby who trained us to keep throwing his ball! It was a lovely bit of paradise for a week and certainly hope to return. Well placed for visiting NT properties etc.

We had a wonderful break.

Gary and Lucy are brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome. Loved seeing all the badgers and foxes in the evenings. The accommodation was spotless and very, very comfortable.

One of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in, our hosts Lucy and Gary were superb and can’t praise them highly enough !

Gary and Lucy were perfect hosts we both had an amazing time watching the badgers and foxes at night.

The visits from the two dogs and the three Shetland ponies were a real treat, also not forgetting the cats. We have never been to such a wonderful place before. Cottage was so well maintained everything you needed was there we couldn’t have asked for more I felt very emotional leaving I just wished we had booked for longer. Thank you so much Gary and Lucy.

Lovely cottage in equally lovely surroundings.

Highly recommended. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic to see the badgers and foxes each night and the more domesticated animals kept by the owners.

Wonderful relaxing stay at Badger View We can’t thank Lucy and Gary enough for making our week so special, with their two delightful dogs, Bobby and Jessy, and three friendly ponies, who would greet us each morning.

A fabulous garden and wooded area to relax in and have a closeup view of the amazing wildlife, with badgers and foxes visiting in the evenings. Special thanks to Bobby for training us to throw the ball for him! We loved his daily visits. Lovely place, lovely people; hope to return one day. June 2022

A magical place to stay.

To go to bed after watching the badgers feeding and to wake up to acrobatic squirrels at the bird table was amazing. The little ponies came to visit together with the dogs for a ball game. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and the accommodation was immaculate. The area is perfect for visiting National Trust properties, we visited one each on our four days.

We thought the whole atmosphere of the cottage was lovely.

We loved looking at the animals and the birds,. The cottage was well furnished and equipped, The owners were so friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The only drawback was the bathroom was a little cramped and there was no towel rail just a loop. Our towels got wet very quickly but there was a clothes line in the garden. I have already recommended the cottage to friends,

Superb, Gary & Lucy were excellent hosts and they were there whenever we needed them, nothing was too much trouble.

Bobby and Jessy the dogs were a joy and lovely to see the Shetland ponies who by the way love carrots. Lots of wild animals around as well. A truly excellent stay.

We’ve had the most magical time at Badger View, Gary and Lucy you are the most giving people, we’ve loved sharing your animals with you, to get up in the morning to watch all the wildlife have been lovely and to have our daily visits from Bob has just been fabulous.

If you are an animal lover Badger view is a must, ideally situated for many of The National Trust properties too.

We had a really enjoyable stay.

the setting was perfect Gary and Lucy couldn't have been nicer very knowledgeable and welcoming. This was a great stay for us. Missing the morning workout with Bob already!!!

Very warm & welcoming hosts, great stay.

Will miss Bob (their Dog)!

Badger view is set in the owners vast wooded garden,it is a perfect place for a peaceful holiday.

There is a great road network for exploring Kent, and everywhere is easily accessible.Gary and Lucy are perfect hosts and their dogs Bobby and Jess are really playful, they also have 3 Shetland ponies which graze on the grass outside of the accommodation. This is a nature lovers dream, with squirrels and the resident fox also making frequent appearances.I would highly recommend a holiday here.

We had a great stay at Badger View and were made to feel very welcome.

A lovely setting, thoroughly enjoyed watching the wildlife - wasn’t expecting to see foxes so close up! A very well equipped property in a good central location. Would highly recommend Badger View.

We have just returned from a fabulous weeks stay at Badgers View.

Everything was spotlessly clean and very very well equipped. Gary and Lucy are lovely friendly hosts who are there if needed, but left us to enjoy their cottage, and garden in the beautiful sunshine. Fabulous weather all week. Loved watching the birds, chickens, ponies, and the crafty foxes that occasionally visited the garden. Our first time here but definitely not our last We had the very best of holidays. Thank you Gary and Lucy for your cute little cottage And kindness.

Badgers View in its woodland setting is the perfect place to retreat to.

The accommodation is small but ideal for two, everything you need is provided. What makes it special are the lovely owners, Gary and Lucy and their animals (ponies, dogs, cats, koi carp) and the wildlife that live there. You can appreciate the animals with none of the hard work. Will definitely return!

The property was exceptional as were the hosts nothing was too much bother, fantastic base for touring around the area.

The property has its own sanctuary for waifs and strays, 2 sheep dogs, 3 small ponies, chickens, a cat and several rescued foxs living in attached woodland area. All in all a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this property for a chilling holiday.

We had a fantastic four day break Lucy and Gary are great hosts nothing is to much trouble for them .

the cottage is very clean and comfortable everything you need weather not great but hope to go back in the new year when the weather will show how lovely it is there.they have three Shetland ponies and to dogs to keep you occupied can’t wait to go back .

I loved the location and the setting of the accommodation.

Such a lovely tranquil setting overlooking a pretty woodland garden.

We loved the wildlife, foxes on the lawn, squirrels and birds, and of-course the owners hilarious miniature Shetland Ponies who came to visit everyday hoping for carrots! The cottage has everything including a DVD and large library of films which is not in the description. Only thing to watch out for is the private lane leading to the owners property is full of deep pot holes so don't arrive in the dark or you could damage your car. Had to drag ourselves away, hoping to return.

A lovely cottage set in a beautiful location.

Gary and Lucy are lovely hosts that made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help us when we had problems with our car nothing was to much for them a big thank you to them both. The cottage is well equipped and met all our needs with great views into the garden where there is plenty of wildlife to watch. The setting is very tranquil and relaxing and we enjoyed the visits from their dogs and ponies. It is within easy reach of tourist attractions and there is plenty to see and do. We would recommend a stay here to our family and friends.

Gary and Lucy made us feel very welcome they were great hosts.

We were very warm and comfortable and had a great week.

What wonderful hosts Lucy and Gary were, they were lovely, warm, friendly people, and particularly the two friendly border collies Jess and Bob, so obedient and also affectionate.

The house was very welcoming, spotless clean and very comfortable in the most beautiful location to either stay in or go out. The house was well provided for as we love to cook, all the crockery and cutlery you needed was available. There is so much to see and do here, we are in both NT and EH and for this you are very well provided for. The scenery around about is pretty and easy to get to places with good roads. We also visited Canterbury a place we have wanted to visit for many years and it lived up to its expectations, beautiful. Thank you so much for all being lovely we will be back to what felt like our little oasis in the clearing of the woods. Kind wishes ti you both hope to see you again Kath and Paul XX

Great holiday accommodation in a fabulous location with the best hosts.

Numerous National Trust properties and other places of interest in the area, as well as good walks and plenty of country pubs, serving good food. We were lucky enough to see a badger and enjoyed the company of all the other animals. Will definitely return soon.

Lovely week.

Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location. Will definitely return.

everything was perfect .

we had perfect weather .a great place to stay if you like peace full surroundings .loved the dogs .loved watching the wildlife.

Will be rebooking.

Lovely welcome from the owners and such a beautiful setting. Very well equipped cottage.

Gary and Lucy were wonderful hosts, most helpful, without intrusion.

Their two dogs Bobby and Jess, 3 Shetland ponies, rescued chickens, squirrels and the regularly visiting foxes were a joy to see each day. Bobby, sometimes accompanied by Jess, visited each morning to have his ball, stick or pine cone, thrown across the lawn, which he duly retrieved and nosed towards you for another go. The accommodation lacked nothing that we could have wanted, and a regular walk through the owners adjoining woodland was much appreciated. So quiet with only the sound of birdsong to break the silence. Within 20 miles are numerous places we visited, , Chartwell (Churchill’s home), Ightam Mote, Chatham Dockyard museum, Upnor Castle, Leeds Castle and Knowle Castle all worth a visit. Our week there was over too soon and we wish them every success.

Fantastic friendly owners, lovely location, would definitely recommend.

A lovely chalet in a lovely setting.

Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Helpful owners. Convenient for main roads to get around. Large Spar shop and petrol close by. An ideal retreat for 2 people.

Beautifully located lodge equipped with everything we could have wanted.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and very cosy. Gary and Lucy made us very welcome and kept us supplied with fresh eggs from their chickens. The grounds of the main house are a haven for wildlife and we enjoyed watching the foxes, squirrels and birds from our patio doors. The area is great for visiting the numerous National Trust properties nearby, our favourite being Igtham Mote which is spectacularly beautiful. Nearby towns of Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Rochester and Whitstable are charming and well worth a visit. Ian & Lynn - Derbyshire

Lovely peaceful setting, comfortable well equipped accommodation.

Ideal location for walking and exploring, plenty of historical and National Trust places to visit. Gary and Lucy great hosts, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Look out for the wildlife especially the foxes playing morning and evening

.

badgers view is a perfect place to have a relaxing break and to observe nature. The grounds are perfect for roaming around and we were encouraged to do so by our perfect hosts Gary and Lucy. We hope to return in the future as it was a very successful Autumn break .

Best accommodation so far.

Comfortable and relaxing in spacious surroundings. Very friendly and caring owners.

A great place to stay; very peaceful and quiet, squirrels and foxes moving about in the trees.

The hosts were really fantastic people, helpful and friendly. There were lots of interesting places to see nearby. Marvelous estates like Penshurst Place, Ever Castle, Knole Park, Ightham Mote, Scotty Castle are really worthwhile visiting, beautiful gardens and mansions. Not to forget interesting towns like Rochester. All in all we had a great time and we would like to thank Lucy and Gary and their two lovely dogs.

We have had a lovely holiday at Badger View.

Gary and Lucy are perfect hosts and so friendly and their lovely garden filled with wildlife that keep you gazing for hours! Not forgetting their two lovely dogs who are such fun. There are so many lovely places to visit and being RHS and NT members we have visited Sissinghurst, Hyde Hall, Chartwell, Emmetts Gardens, Ightham Mote and Wisley and lovely Biddenden vineyard. We even managed to find time for a game of Bowls at Borough Green and the club made us most welcome. Woodlands garden centre is a must, a great independent garden centre with a restaurant - Twig and Spoon for fabulous food. You may need to book! Although we have done so much on our holiday we have left plenty more for a return visit. Looking forward to seeing you both again soon.

This cottage is like Mary Poppins.

..practically perfect in every way. It is decorated, furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard and in an idyllic location. Gary and Lucy could not have made us feel more welcome and we are missing Bobby and Jess already! You will never tire of watching the wildlife in the beautiful garden and the tranquilty of the surroundings is so relaxing. Add to all this the many excellent pubs only 10 minutes away in whatever direction you choose to go and you have got yourself the most wonderful holiday. We will most certainly be back.

Lovely place to stay.

The grounds are beautiful, tranquil setting with lots of wildlife to amuse us. The owners are delightful & extremely helpful. Location is good, close to rail & bus services, great pubs. We feel the photo of Badger's View on Sykes web & booking site does not do the cottage justice, it is much prettier than the current photo depicts.

Badgers view is 100% perfect Gary and Lucy the owners are so friendly and helpful.

The two dogs are delightful. The grounds are gorgeous it is a little bit of paradise on earth, with the added bonus of wildlife. We will visit again when possible.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable.

We were snowbound for two days. This wasn't a problem as we were constantly entertained by the antics of the squirrels, foxes and magpies. Gary and Lucy are excellent hosts, and they made us feel so welcome. The cottage is ideally situated for viewing a number of National Trust Properties, Leeds Castle, and Hever Castle. The local Spar shop is more than adaquate for stocking up on essentials items, and is within easy walking distance. We will definitely visit again...... in the Summer .... hopefully.

A very enjoyable relaxing location with friendly helpful hosts.

Nothing was too much trouble and we loved our stay and would love to come back in the spring or summer.

If you like wildlife - you'll love this.

Very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and ready to assist.

It was the best ever cottage we have booked and hope to have the same results with others.

This cottage is in a perfect location.

Set it beautiful surroundings. Owners were very welcoming and very helpful with ideas of where to go and things to do.

We had a wonderfully time at badges view ,.

,,Gary and Lucy were a lovely friendly couple and very helpfully'

Brilliant place to stay, and as well really lovely owners :) really lovely place

We had a perfect stay.

Mr Carter and his wife were really lovely people. They couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome . The property was beautiful. They even gave us advice about great places to eat out as it was my birthday while we were away. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The owners Gary & Lucy were very welcoming & helpful.

The accommodation & grounds were great. It was lovely to watch all the wildlife. There was plenty to see & do in the area. We had a nice time visiting Leeds castle, Dover castle, & Chatham dockyard,

This was a wonderful choice: A very comfortable home away, nicely planned and decorated, and with everything we needed on hand.

There are lovely surroundings with woodland and wildlife offering interest and beauty, but there is no sense of isolation, as there are many tourist destinations and metropolitan facilities in easy reach. The owners are excellent hosts with just the right balance of concern for our wellbeing, and respect for privacy, We loved their two beautiful dogs, as well as the fresh-laid eggs provided from their chickens, and really enjoyed the peaceful environment they had created within the large grounds of their property. We found the whole experience immensely relaxing and restoring and would unhesitatingly recommend this holiday let to all.
