Kingfisher Cottage

We spent a lovely few days in Kingfisher Cottage.

The owners Alan and Pam were very welcoming and had left milk and wine in the fridge and a box of shortbread which was appreciated. There is ample parking space and the cottage was really nice and had everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely and peaceful and not a long drive to a shop or Chinese takeaway which we sampled. Small but perfect cottage.

Bed a bit creaky but mattress soft and comfortable. Everywhere clean and tidy. Tom the cat very friendly.

Was as described in a quiet location.

I used it when visiting family in this part of Kent, the owners were very friendly will use again on my next family visit.

Comfortable cosy and just what we needed for a quiet get away. Alan and Pam were lovely helpful hosts. We would love to come back one day.

Our Stay at Kingfisher Cottage was made even better by our warm & Friendly Hosts ,ALAN & PAM , They made us feel really welcome , The accommodation was excellent very clean & comfortable, we also made Friends with the resident goats PENNY & VICKY Lovely watching all the Sheep & young Lambs , we will Definitely be going Back again Dennis & Brenda

We had a wonderful stay.

Sofa is a bit small to snuggle up on, but a very comfy bed and we found the cottage cosy and perfectly peaceful. Alan and Pam were incredibly helpful and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. Our little dog also loved it and we hope to make return visit. The bottle of wine was much appreciated - and what fantastic wine glasses!

The cottage was very clean and had everything needed for a week away. The location is very peaceful and perfect for us to visit the places we wanted to go. Being able to walk round the farm and visit the goats and other animals was a bonus.

We had a wonderful stay over bank holiday weekend at the Kingfisher.

Pam and Alan were so lovely, and so was the farm and all the animals to walk around and visit. Pam greeted us on entry and showed up around, and even gave us a bottle of wine and some shortbread which was very much appreciated! We enjoyed wandering the farm in the evenings, saying hello to all the animals and listening to the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and there was enough room for two of us and our dog. The property was a great distance from everywhere we wanted to visit, and the weather (although couldn't be planned) really showed up for us. The only things that could have been improved would be a slightly more comfortable sofa and bed, and maybe a window for when you're cooking, however none of this took away from our 5 star stay at the Kingfisher. Clean & smart in a beautiful farm setting the quiet is so noisy you can hear a pin drop.

Enjoyed our stay , very relaxing .

Pam and alan went the extra mile for us providing us with little extras, made us free very at home. When travelling from overseas for a lengthy time laundry becomes an issue and while Pam did ours , to have that facility ourselves might be a good suggestion.

Pam and Alan were excellent hosts and the farm and surroundings were great, lovely to be able to walk round the farm and get close to the animals especially the goats , peacock , cats ,sheep.

You can see how much effort they have made on the farm to make it a excellent place to visit .

We found Kingfisher cottage cosy and well equipped.

We were greeted with a bottle of wine and shortbread. Pam and Alan were wonderful, when we had a gps problem Alan offered to guide us the next morning not only that but he set up my gps on my phone, which proved so helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to meet the animals and missed the peacock! Thank you to both of them for making our stay so pleasant.

Alan was excellent, communicated with me on day of arrival and came to check everything was ok on 3 more occasions throughout the week.
