Canadian Cabin No 39

The site, though lacking in some of the facilities that more upmarket, expensive sites have, suited our needs perfectly.

It was clean well maintained and in a lovely location. The cabin itself was generally very clean(dog chew left under the chair from previous holiday makers), bed was clean and comfortable, shower large and powerful and the kitchen lounge facilities very good. The only negative - Although the cabin appeared to have been recently renovated the wall covering in the bathroom had raised and was bubbling - similarly with the coating on the unit doors in the Kitchen where the heat had risen. Thoroughly enjoyed our few days and would definitely recommend it to others and return for another holiday. Thank you Norman Bilko

upon arrival we found that we had been upgraded to the high spy lodge wich turned out to be one of the best lodges i’ve ever stayed in!

the location of the park so close to keswick was perfect and so peaceful,no road noise at all!i would definitely recommend low briery to anyone

We really loved the cabin, we only had one issue, lack of lights from the door to the top of the steps down

The Cabin itself was comfortable, clean and had everything needed for a our stay.

Outside area of the cabin needed maintenance. The decking had been badly repaired and the paved path leading to the cabin was loose and wobbly. This particular accommodation is sited up on a bank with around fifteen steep steps I think this should be highlighted more in the listing. The Holiday Park has lots of different kinds of accommodation and is in a perfect location to enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer.

The Canadian cabin was lovely, the location was stunning.

Definitely stay here again in the future.

Accommodation was good.

However description re 'steps to the property' ought to mention - around 15 steps to lodge level then a walkway, then a further 3 steps to the door. Could be a big problem for some people. Also WiFi was only available if you went and stood outside the park's office. It was a general joke with residents standing outside on their phones morning and evening which was not good. Access to walks from the park was great and the park was clean and maintained.

Really good site, very clean accommodation providing g the basics you need whilst there incl towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc.

There were 18 steps up to the property which I think should mentioned.

The slabs leading to the cabin are uneven creating a trip hazard. The mains operated smoke had been removed with wiring still visible. This has been replaced with a battery powered smoke alarm. There were no booklets for the oven and dishwasher. There was no hoover in the cabin, just a brush which is not ideal for cleaning up dog hair. Parking not great and out of sight of the cabin.

We loved our stay in this cabin.

It was lovely and clean and everything you need. The site was nice and perfectly place by a disused railway line which was perfect for walking in to Keswick along. The scenery around the cabin was spectacular. Will definitely stay on the site again in the future.

Need to warn people about the steps up to the cabins, 18.

We were ok but would imagine some would struggle.
