Despite a severe storm and a power outage that forced us to leave temporarily, we loved this lodge!
The power issue wasn't the owners' fault, and they were fantastic—checking on us and bringing blankets and torches. The lodge was perfect for 2 adults, 2 kids, and our dog. The weather tried to spoil it, but we returned and enjoyed the rest of our holiday. Highly recommend!
Loved our stay at Low Brierly Woof Luxury Family Pod.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic. Very comfortable lounge and bedroom, bathroom shower was perfect. Enjoyed a daily visit to the hot tub after a day’s walking in the incredibly scenic and spectacular area. Suggestions for an even better visit to this lovely place would be to install a taller patio fence to increase hot tub privacy, also to attach a mesh to the patio fencing to reduce risk of escaping smaller dogs. Inside the pod we noticed the shelves and window blinds were dusty. Could be cleaned more diligently, the extractor fan in the bathroom needed more cleaning attention too. We will be back for sure, but hope to see some improvements for an even better experience in the beautiful Lake District.
Lovely area and site but the Lodge was very unclean.
Clumps of dust/hair and toe nail clippings under the sofa. It was in need of a good deep clean. It's a shame as it is a beautiful lodge, with a wonderful view and very tranquil. Took a long time to get a response from anyone too.
