Spent an enjoyable 3 night stay in this well appointed accommodation.

Would definitely stay here again.

Poor design of common areas - the lounge / kitchen would be better open plan with views up to Skiddaw - otherwise a brilliant lodge which worked perfectly for myself and brother - lots of room

The local pub has good beer and food and only a 10 minute walk into Keswick centre

Hayswater set in a lovely position great views over fields and hills nice to sit out not overlooked.

Living area roomy, comfortable sofas and beds, everything you need in kitchen nice view from kitchen window too. Enjoyed are stay there will come back.

Lovely lodge different layout to some of the other lodges we have stayed at on Burnside Park.

Beautiful interrupted view from this lodge. There was a problem with the shower unit in the ensuite, which was sorted after contacting the owner.

Lodge with stunning view.

Very clean. Bedrooms need some time to warm up, but will warm up after heating being on a while. So would take hot water bottle if went back and outside temp below freezing again or heater as kids still not warm getting dressed in evening after shower (but shower and rooms warmer in morning). Not a powerful shower, so if have long thick hair worth washing it before you go. Otherwise comfortable and everything we needed. Great location for being close to Keswick and lots of walks and places in the lakes.

A lovely and comfortable lodge.

Well equipped. Fantastic long balcony/decking area with great views. Only downside was the standard of cleaning: really needs a good dust - lots of cobwebs in corners, on windows, on bathroom extractor fans, etc.

Lodge exceeded all our expectations.

Location to everything from Keswick and walks , cleanliness , setup and what a view. Thankyou so much for making our holiday one of the best experiences for all.

lighting in living room VERY poor Hob, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher not easy to use (didn't use washing machine) .

We didn't find the quick instructions together with the parking permits until the day we left, they were buried on the book case! Stunning views.

This holiday lodge was fantastic!

Stunning views of the countryside. We stayed as a family, for four nights. The location is great, walkable into Keswick. There’s also a fantastic pub called the Pheasant that does great food very close by, it was so good we ate there twice! If you don’t know the area ( like us) Keswick is a fab town, lots of shops, easy parking. Booths is great if you fancy some upmarket ready meals & treats! There lodge was spotless, beds and bedding - really comfortable. Fab kitchen, modern & really well equipped for self catering, I was so impressed with the little touches, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid pods, clothes, tea towels, cling film, tin foil etc. I always bring the essentials but I needn’t have! The owners obviously go that extra mile to make it a comfortable stay, we had a great time and will definitely be returning!

A spotlessly clean and well- equipped property in an excellent location with superb views of Latrigg and Skiddaw.

Certainly hope to be back!

Beautiful lodge in a quiet location with stunning views of Skiddaw and Latrigg.

Just a 5 minute walk to the closest pub/restaurant and 10 minutes into the centre of Keswick. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook meals if you choose and was spotlessly clean. Great stay.

Ideally located for a walk into Keswick. Stunning views from the decking. We vey much hope we will be back.

We have had the best week!

This was our 10th year staying at Burnside Park, but our 1st in Hayeswater Lodge. The views from the lodge were incredible and it was amazing to wake up every morning to gaze at the hills, which seemed to change every day and look majestic even in the fog or drizzle. Definitely the best spot in the park. Inside, the lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed for the week and really enjoyed our stay. We came home and immediately tried to book for the same week next year but sadly someone already beat us to it!

The lodge is fantastic, the best on the park.

It has excellent views, we really enjoyed sat on the decking area watching people climbing Latrigg. It's great location makes it convenient for Keswick and local walks, without having to use the car. We were a party of 4 adults and found the lodge very comfortable, clean and tidy with all the equipment we required. Hopefully we will return in the future.

Lovely cabin, perfect for a tranquil holiday.

I agree with the owners it is the best location on the site. The cabin is tastefully decorated and when it's chilly the fire heats up very quickly. It is the only place I have ever visited that provided a stove-top veg steamer (a major plus in my opinion) I won't need to bring my own next time. The location is perfect for travelling around being just off the A66 but far enough away not to be troubled by the noise. Already booked next trip

We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was clean and well organised with a fabulous view from the deck.

The extractor fan in the en-suite wasn’t working but apart from that very minor fault everything worked as advertised. We would heartily recommend staying here.

Absolutely brilliant we love Burnside been many times but first time we’ve stayed at Hayeswater hopefully won’t be the last thank you left some house keys their have emailed Sykes but not heard anything as yet

The lodge was better with the new steps the only problem was long hairs on the bed cover and dressing table not to your normal standard

My elderly mum and I very much enjoyed our stay at your lodge and we would consider coming back again.

The view from the lodge was spectacular and it was nice to see the horse in the field next door. When at the lodge it was very peaceful.

A really lovely lodge with the most amazing views.

Great location and very quiet. First impressions are key and the lodge was lovely and clean. Well appointed with everything we needed and more. There were even little wicker baskets in the bedrooms for keeping bits and bobs to hand throughout the stay. Bathrooms lovely and clean. Dishwasher and washing machine pods to use which were a great help. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. We did struggle with the instructions for the oven but got there in the end and was not a problem. Lovely big comfy sofas with the views to enjoy. Sadly we didn’t see Noel the red squirrel but maybe next time. Thank you.

Fantastic lodge.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable, warm and cosy. Enjoyed a great week. Kitchen was very well equipped, wanted for nothing. Great views of the surrounding area. The owners have put a lot of hard work into creating the perfect lodge.

This lodge is situated in a fabulous place and the view is spectacular.

The contents and amenities of the lodge were possibly the best I've encountered, with even steamers being supplied - a rare thing in my experience. It took me a while to come to grips with the electric hob as I hadn't experienced that before but I soon got on top of it. The lodge is suited to anyone who might just require a place to lay their head or, like me, have a peaceful rest in comfy quarters. I love the place as did my other guests.

The steps need to be more of a slop for people with a disability

We had a lovely holiday at Hayeswater Lodge.

It is very well equipped and comfortable and the views are absolutely stunning. The only downside was the fact that we lost the wi-fi after the first day - a member of our party had stayed here earlier in the year and reported the self-same problem - it has obviously not been resolved. We hope to return - it is a brilliant base for a walking holiday and Keswick is a very easy walk away.

Kitchen and bedrooms provided everything you needed. Tv needs updating, limited channels and you cannot cast from your phone as tv is not connected to the wifi. It would have been good to have atleast a dust pan and brush to clean bits up. Both bathrooms needed to be cleaned when we arrived as they were a bit dusty and hairs in sink and shower.

What a superb Log Cabin.

We really did enjoy our stay, in something so comfortable and clean. This contributed brilliantly, to the best two weeks we’ve ever had in The Lakes. It’s nice after seeing landscapes, wildlife, fighter jets, and the aurora, to be able to come back to this wonderful place. I’d like to take this opportunity, to thank the owners, for allowing to stay in such a fantastic property. It’s hugely respected, and appreciated, the time and effort that must go into providing these. A huge thankyou again, for such a great stay at Hayeswater. It was brilliant! Best regards. Great place to for families we have enjoyed staying perfect hideout thanks

The lodge was very well equipped and nicely furnished throughout with plenty of storage even for four adults and two teenagers.

The view from the lodge looked good from the photos and certainly didn’t disappoint even when the weather wasn’t ideal. The suggested walk up Latrigg was well worth the effort for the amazing panoramic views. The location is peaceful with an easy walk into Keswick town centre.

We were amazed at the level of comfort and cleanliness of this cabin!

It was so well equipped and to such a high standard . Kitchen had everything you needed and then some . A perfect setting for peace and quiet with stunning views and so well situated. We will definatley book again. A credit to the owners , thankyou.

We have stayed in menu lodges but this one was way above them for cleanliness and comfort just what we needed quite and peaceful lovely views.

Fabulous accommodation, very well equipped and spotless.

A little bit out of Keswick but that is what we wanted and it gave us the most fabulous views and wildlife. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
