“Major issue which spoiled our stay at Pippin Cottage is the access to the property using the steps, which we found difficult due to the height between each step being greater than expected when entering the accommodation.”

Other than that, we found the accommodation to be of a high quality and very comfortable. Our only other comment refers to the non-existence of the barbecue, although the utensils were found at the property. There were dishwasher tablets at the property but no dishwasher. Unfortunately, we will not be making any return visits to Pippin Cottage, which is a shame as the property itself is very good aside from the access.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on your stay at Pippin. Really appreciate you recognising the accommodation to be of a high standard - this is something we are proud of. We’d like to address the concerns you raised. The steps to access the property are clearly visible in photographs of the property. It also states there are 5 steps in the listing. Whilst we appreciate that steps may not be appropriate for all guests, they are a part of the property we are currently unable to alter. We believe they are safe, they are well maintained and regularly swept, and have sturdy handrails. We are a little confused by the dishwasher comment. The property does have a dishwasher - it is in the kitchen. Guests are always welcome to ask for help with anything property related from the property manager or via Sykes. The BBQ has been removed from the listing. We will ensure the utensils are also removed to prevent future confusion. Apologies for any disappointment this may have caused - it was an oversight on our part. Thanks again for letting us know your thoughts. You’d be more than welcome to return to Pippin in the future should you wish to. Maria and Jonathan Property Owner
