Tucked away in the popular spot of Fallbarrow Holiday Park in Windermere, Cumbria is this lovely single-storey lodge in an elevated position, Treetops.

This tree-top lodge welcomes six guests and benefits from an open-plan living space, off-road parking and lakeside views.

Treetops is a lovely base from which to explore the delights of Cumbria.

Cross the threshold into a spacious living area where you can kick back and unwind in front of the electric fire and Smart TV after a long day of adventures; get to grips with a fantastic range of appliances in a well-stocked kitchen and settle down at the intimate dining table to relish meal as a family.

Alternatively, step out onto the enclosed decking to bask in an alfresco affair, with the stunning views of the lake in your backdrop.

When the sky grows dark, wash away the day in a sleek en-suite shower room or the spacious bathroom, ahead of drawing back the sumptuous covers of either a king-size with TV or 2 x twin bedrooms to rest your head in.

When it comes to things to see and do, you’re spoilt for choice here, begin your day at the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and then head to the beloved children’s author former home at Hill Top; amble to the top of Queen Adelaide’s Hill to bask in the stunning views over surrounding areas or admire the unspoiled beauty of Stock Ghyll Force waterfall.

Try your hand at a plethora of watersports on Lake Windermere or traverse the grounds of the National Trust owned Wray Castle.

Journey to Rydal where you can explore Rydal Cave and the magnificent Rydal Mount Gardens and be sure to visit Wordsworth Grasmere to see where the famous poet used to reside.

You are also well-positioned here to visit the popular destinations of Ambleside, Latterbarrow and Keswick where Keswick Museum, Puzzling Place and Derwentwater lake can be found.

Very pleased with the lodge everything you need apart from WiFi We had no WiFi for the whole weekend.

Other lodges had their own WiFi and not having to rely on the rubbish WiFi provided by Parkdean.Everytime I tried to log on it switched me off.I like to read the paper on my iPad on a morning so I missed being able to do that.I would have given a 5 star rating if WiFi was good it needs to be sorted.Everything else was very good please sort out your WiFi.

Had a lovely week away Perfection Paridise Lodge was fantastic everything and more perfect location we have stayed at Fallborrow before and love the site We wanted for nothing in the lodge all lot of thought has been put into the little extras Had a lovely swim and relax at the local gym / spa about 10 minute drive away included in lodge booking The lake beautiful views and Bowness only a few steps away is the icing on the cake We were able to use the lodge as a base for local walks Ideal for a chillaxing break or none stop activity Something for everyone Ambleside is a bus or boat ride away

    There is insufficient space to fit a travel cot in the bedrooms and would have to be placed in the living room area. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

    Fallbarrrow Park management lock the entrance gates at midnight. If you are arriving after midnight, please call the night warden.

    Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge.

    The nearest charging point can be found near Fallbarrow Reception and at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

    Park Rules and Operations – Fallbarrow

    All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

    Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

    You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

    Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.

    Complimentary WiFi is provided by the park and subject to fair usage guidelines. Quality and reliability of connection will vary based on the number of people using it, prevailing weather conditions and therefore may be limited or slower than you are used to. WiFi is for personal use only and is not intended for high data usage, gaming and/or use for business purposes. This is only suitable for page browsing and sending emails.
