Lakeland Dream @ South Lakeland Leisure Lodge

We stayed here last week as a family of 5.

Spacious lodge, spotless, and very well equipped. The owners thought of everything and had some lovely finishing touches with a fabulous welcome pack. The site was well maintained and the bar and restaurant were fabulous too. The location is fantastic with lots of places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend.

This lodge is stunning, super clean and has everything you need/could wish for.

It is roomy and has plenty of outdoor space and outdoor seating furniture. It’s in a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the leisure facilities and restaurant. Great communication from Jim and Lyn and the extra personal touches that were left in the lodge for us to enjoy were fab! We hope to come back l soon!

It has everything you need to relax and unwind, we did and had a great week. Thank you also for always being contactable both before and during the holiday, this was a big help to us.

Just spent a very relaxing week in this wonderful lodge.

From the minute we stepped foot in the door we knew it was special. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. Absolutely spotless and super comfy furniture and the bed was amazing. Situated in a lovely quiet spot but only 5 mins to pub/restaurant. Lyn and Jim kept in touch with any info that we needed which was a lovely personal touch, which we appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Lakeland Dream is as the name suggests wonderful.

There is ample outside seating provided which sadly we didn’t get a lot of use of as the weather was ok but not brilliant. The overall condition of the property is excellent and the owners Jim & Lyn have left nothing to chance in providing everything to make your stay more comfortable. This would be a great location for anybody who stays a short distance away for weekends etc. It is a great base for getting around with plenty to do and easy access to the M6. This property is one of the newer on the site and therefore has that modern feel about it. Lodges are indeed the better option these days compared to some sites with the caravan style which can feel a bit cramped, this property is certainly not cramped. All in all we loved it.

What a wonderful week we had in this beautiful lodge.

It had everything you could wish for and more. The beds were extremely comfortable and although there were six of us - four adults and two children - we had plenty of room. The grandsons loved having a TV in their room (something they’re not used to) which gave us an extra half hours peace in the morning! We would definitely recommend it.

Excellent all round, very comfortable and a very lovely place.

Communication from Jim & Lynn was very good. I would recommend this wonderful location and I thought it was an excellent place to be able get to the lakes area each day.

Just spent a week in this lovely Lodge with my wife, 2 daughters and grandson.

Over the years we have stopped in a few lodges and this one is one of the best if not the best. Well kept, clean, tidy, comfortable, well equipped with good quality accessories. Not to mention the little extras. Jim and Lynn the owners are very helpful with any enquiries or assistance you require. Just like to say a massive thank you to Jim and Lynn. Paul and Pauline.

This is a lovely lodge that is very comfortable and well maintained by the owners.

The owners keep in touch and ensure everything is done to ensure a great stay. The park where it is situated is well maintained and quiet. We hope to return in the future.

Party of 4 adults, lodge had lots of space and was very clean and comfortable, very much a home from home, everything you needed was there.

The lodge is beautiful inside and out it’s very luxurious and felt brand new, the owners have thought of everything you might need for a holiday.

Beds were so comfy and had the best nights sleep after exploring the area. We had a truly lovely week in the lodge owners are very friendly and helpful too.

Had a fantastic stay here with the family.

Great area for kids to play they loved the ducks. Place was spotless had everything we needed and more, it was like a home from home. Beds were so comfy the facilities couldn't fault and the hosts were attentive and available if needed. Will defo be back!

A beautiful, spacious lodge in a beautiful setting.

Very comfortable and clean. Did not use leisure facilities on site this time. Sad to leave at end of stay and look forward to returning next year.

What a gorgeous lodge!

We had a lovely 4days here. The lodge was equipped with everything you could need, was pristine on arrival and sheer comfort & luxury. The lodge has a perfect location on the site with the wrap around decking which is nice and secluded from other lodges with lovely furniture inside and out to relax and dine with. The owners were so accommodating and were available quickly if we had any questions. We've already had friends and family enquiring about how to book the lodge - we are looking forward to return ourselves sometime in the future
