Beautiful lodge We have had a lovely stay at no 15, the lodge is lovely, everything there we needed even a welcome pack which was such a nice touch, we can definitely recommend it we hope to return soon Thank you Alison and Andrew

Lovely accommodation.

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely touch of Prosecco and gorgeous biscuits on arrival. Would highly recommend.

Had a fab stay.

Lodge was lovely and spacious with a garden to the side that was filled with rabbits in the evening. Restaurant and bar great with lovely view over lake. Ideal location to go out each day to different places. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Thank you so much, Shirley and John. August 2024.

What a beautiful property.

Very clean and well kept. We had the best time very relaxing and quite. Loved the fact you could sit out and watch / feed the rabbits and ducks.

Great accommodation clean and everything you need pity about the traffic noise but got used to it .

Could do with a bar or shop at this of the site. Overall good place to stay for visiting the lakes.

We have had another enjoyable week at no 15.

The lodge is very clean and comfortable. The Prosecco and milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Plenty of places nearby to visit although the weather was so good we didn’t venture too far.

It is ideally located on the site and has everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The welcome pack was a very pleasant surprise. The property is spacious and spotlessly clean. Communication with the owner was excellent as were the location and access instructions. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Real home from home and fantastic welcome pack left after a long journey based in a truly relaxing and tranquil environment with lovely walks to enjoy with four legged friends and very central to have as a base to explore the lakes Number 15 lodge is a real credit to the owners

The lodge was very clean and comfortable, the area peaceful, amusing to have visits from the ducks on a morning. Also the welcome pack was a nice touch. We hope to go again.

Extremely happy with the stay in cottage. Cleanliness 10 out of 10. Equipped with all the necessary equipments. Very beautiful interior and exterior. Calm environment. You can never expect anything more than this. Highly recommend for anyone who wish to travel Lake District. Respect the hospitality of the owner. Bless you

We had a wonderful stay at Number 15.

The lodge was in a lovely location and the instructions provided on the day made it really easy to find. The lodge itself is clean and well equipped. We felt incredibly comfortable and are already looking to rebook. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay and a beautiful lodge!

Lovely lodge on a quiet site.

Comfortable furniture and bed , nice to have a little space at the side for doggy. Owners left goodies for us and dog which were welcome indeed thank-you. All in all excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. Thanks again.

The hosts were welcoming and contactable should we need any help/advice. The accommodation was lovely, well-equipped and spotlessly clean.A nice gesture was the welcome tray which allowed us to make a much needed and appreciated cuppa on arrival after a long journey. We also found it to be a good base for us to travel and explore the nearby Lake District. We will certainly recommend 15 Carnforth to our friends and family. Eleanor & Duncan.

Number 15 is in a great location - close to the M6, around 20 miles or so from Bowness-on-Windermere, 15 miles from Kendal and less than 30 miles from Ambleside.

Only a few minutes drive into town which offers a Tesco, Aldi and Co-op, passing an Esso garage on the way. The accommodation itself is immaculate - Everything you need is provided, of good quality and new. Wifi worked great, with a Large TV in the living area as well as smaller TV's in the bedrooms. The gas central heating also seemed to warm up the place quickly. A welcome tray of tea, coffee, biscuits, hot chocolate along with wine & milk in the fridge was most appreciated! As it's on a large outside corner plot surrounded by trees we had plenty of private space outside too, and somewhere to chuck a ball for the dog for 10 minutes before bed. All in all a great short break and well recommended!
