After reading some of the reviews I felt like cancelling.

But I think some people just like to moan The lodge was very nice and very clean The mattresses were fine The 2nd bathroom is a bath with a shower head So no need for a curtain Yes I agree the decking could do with some maintenance work And the hoover was the nosiest hoover I’ve ever heard

First impression gorgeous scenery the cabin looked really nice with a long balcony for the dog to run up and down with the glass and the end were you look down in the lake plenty of ducks and swans to feed and fishing we caught a baby pike.

Balcony fence abit worn down outside big bedroom.in the cabin we looked out the living room window into the lake really beautiful in the morning. Cabin was clean apart from small spiders everywhere. Dog had loads of room to play about. Kitchen was absolutely stunning with everything you need from coffee, tea, and sugar pans plates everything you need to cook and clean.Plenty of storage space. Main bathroom was really nice and clean with a skylight to look out when in the bath. The beds are really uncomfortable especially the king size bed the mattress was so uncomfortable it hurt just sleeping on it had to put the patio furniture cushions on the bed for a bit of comfort it really needs a new mattress would of given 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for the beds that ruined the whole time we was there . Hover was broke and also there was no heating so had to use living room fire to get warm other than that it was gorgeous plenty of treats for the dog also had dog bowls and poo bags.

Lodge is really nice, windows in livingroom looking out to lake are worth the booking alone.

Kitchen is lovely, (oven isn't very good) Really clean and spacious. Beds (mattresses) are really cheap which was a big issue considering how nice the bedrooms are. The decking needs replacing asap, spent a lot of time out there because the view is so nice. But it's rotten and starting to fall apart.
